I want to lodge a formal complain against US Bank. I had recently been seperated and had called US bank to take my ex off my account. US bank told me on the phone that they could do that for me and ***ured me my funds were safe. The same night that I had made the phone call and had been told by a US bank ***ociate that my funds were safe, there was an ATM withdraw that same night of ***.** missing. So that night, I call the fraud department of US bank and was told that yes it was an ATM transaction from my ex. So I filed a fraud claim. After several phone calls and time on the phone, US bank informs me that the ***ociate was wrong and that the account would have needed to be completely closed down. If I would have been told that, I would have done so. So then after waiting a month, US bank informs me that it wasn't fraud and that she was on the account and had every right to take the money. I was proactive in calling US bank and being told fraudulent information about the account. I was also told that they would be giving me a provisional credit of the ***.** which never happened. Because of US bank misleading me and not telling me the truth I am still out ***.**. I am wanting to lodge a formal complaint and still asking for fraudulent activity on my account and want the money returned.
I trust that US Bank will make this right and come up with a resolution that is fair.
