After a USPS employee processed my package, I noticed on my copy of International Costoms Form I noticed that I forgot to put the receiver’s postal code. However, I have already paid and received my receipt. So I told the USPS employee who processed my package about it. He was confused and told me he can just get the copy of costoms international form ALREADY attatched on my package and I can physically write the postal code. I did what I was told and he said, the package is good and I don’t have to worry about anything. However, I am worried because I know for a fact that he was supposed to fill out the information on the costoms form on the computer. Knowing I just physically wrote the missing postal code, I do not think it was enough. I am afraid my package will get lost while in transit. I would like to know if what he did was the right procedure or not.
