I recently created a new account for personal use, my third overall next to two business accounts. I couldn't use my existing phone number, so I left that field empty. However, when I tried to log in again, my account got locked for suspicious activity. Since I couldn't use my original number for the new account due to Twitter's restrictions, I was left in a difficult situation. Seeking help through Twitter's support form was unhelpful and frustrating; they even asked me not to reply to their email, which I found impolite for customer service. When I attempted to use my work phone number to unlock the account, I faced another issue. Despite entering the number, I received a message saying that I had exceeded the attempts allowed for phone verification. This has left me at a standstill, as I have tried to resolve this problem through multiple devices, including my Windows desktop, the app, and my mobile phone, but I am unable to progress.

In March (nine months ago), I reached out to Twitter support regarding their new notification system. It was overwhelming my notifications with unwanted messages, making it difficult to see the ones I actually wanted to see. This issue has persisted for far too long. I have only received automated responses, with no human interaction to address the problem. It is essential that this issue is resolved promptly, and there should be a direct way to reach a real person when ongoing complaints are ignored for such an extended period. The current lack of human engagement is not how customer service should be handled.

I am concerned about a tweet I encountered that could be connected to a potential Russian bot, though I didn't capture the sender's details. The tweet in question posed a seemingly harmless question about favorite Twitter users to elicit responses. This tactic mirrors a past issue Facebook faced, where similar methods were used to gather user data. Recently, there have been numerous tweets, including a politically charged one, asking innocent yet probing questions. Initially, participating felt like a game, with straightforward yes/no or either/or responses. However, in retrospect, the situation appears more dubious. It's essential to remain cautious and vigilant in such interactions on social media platforms.

Last night, I came across what appeared to be a foreign or possibly domestic bot. Unfortunately, I didn't save the user ID or tweet, but I did mention my suspicion in a comment. This situation could potentially be a way for external entities to gather data on Twitter users. This morning, I encountered another dubious tweet, which I submitted in a complaint form. The tweet in question was from Alison Greene at GrassrootsSpeak. I refrained from responding as these tweets usually pose yes/no or either/or questions. Regrettably, I have engaged with many of these tweets, thinking it was a harmless game. I'm not seeking a personal resolution but rather reporting this concerning activity for your investigation and potential involvement of law enforcement. Thank you.

I received a suspicious tweet last night that I suspect to be from a bot. It asked for favorite people on Twitter and explanations, potentially gathering personal data. I replied with caution. Then, this morning, another concerning tweet came through related to current events. This tweet posed intriguing yet concerning questions. Many similar yes/no questions have been trending on Twitter, which I found engaging until now. I urge you to look into these tweets, and if necessary, involve law enforcement.

My account got locked because of an age restriction. I created it when I was a few months shy of 13, and now I'm 20. It's frustrating to be locked out for an age I can't even recall setting on my account. I reached out to Twitter support, and they said they would unlock it and provide updates. It's been weeks, and nothing has changed; I haven't received any updates. I emailed support recently to ask about the delay, and got a response that my case was closed. I'm very annoyed and just want my Twitter account back. I've been a committed user for years with no previous issues.

Hi Twitter, this Christmas I want to give a special present to someone who is more than a best friend. @redshepherdess is not only a friend but also a sister and a beautiful soul. She is a strong, independent, and inspirational female farmer who works tirelessly. Through her social media accounts, she showcases courage, passion, and determination in farming, inspiring others. She shares captivating pictures on Twitter, Instagram, and Snapchat, offering a glimpse into her farming life. This holiday season, I was hoping you could consider granting her a verified blue tick on Christmas Day. I understand it's a big request, but she truly deserves it. Thank you for taking the time to read this. Ethan

Twitter suspended my account for 12 hours after I posted something inappropriate. I apologize for the mistake and assure you it won't happen again. Could you please assist me in getting it unblocked? The username they mentioned, "rltubiolo52," is not familiar to me. I appreciate your help. Wishing you a happy holiday season and stay safe. Thank you.

Around 3 weeks ago, I got locked out of my account because I was below the required age when I created it 9 years ago. Despite reaching out to them over 7 times and submitting the necessary forms to recover my account, including verification from a guardian, I have only received automated responses. I have not been able to speak to a real person. I am unable to call them as I am in the UK and they only provide an American phone number. My account is not disabled, just temporarily locked, and can only be unlocked by Twitter. What should I do next?

Hi Twitter Support, I am reaching out about my account associated with [redacted] My account has been locked for three days now, and I am concerned about the lack of support. I am unable to find a way to contact you directly regarding this issue. While you mentioned being in contact with updates, I am struggling to appeal for my account's unlock. I have tried reaching out using an old account, but have not received a response. I am 17 years old and believe I can adhere to Twitter's rules and regulations. Please unlock my account so I can continue to use it. I look forward to hearing from you. Thank you.

I am having trouble accessing my old Twitter account under the handle "@Skeletoriels" due to not remembering the phone number associated with it. I have created a new account, but I'm unable to use the same handle. Despite knowing my login credentials, when I try to log in, I am prompted for the forgotten phone number. When I try to submit a ticket, I receive an email stating that the provided email is incorrect, which is not the case. My current emails are [redacted] for the new account and [redacted] for the old one. The old handle "@Skeletoriels" is linked to the old email and account, whereas my new account is "@Skeletor_iels." Any assistance would be appreciated.

Every morning, I check Twitter, and today I received a message stating my account was locked due to suspicious activity. I am sure I haven't done anything unusual on my account. When attempting to follow the required steps to unlock it, I realized my Twitter was created in [redacted]; I no longer have the same email or phone number linked to it and cannot reset my password as instructed. I've made several attempts to dispute this issue, provided my new phone number, and updated my email address but have not received any SMS or email to proceed. I am requesting assistance to regain access to my long-standing account.

My Twitter account, @Tierraalexisss, got messed up when I entered my birth date and they flagged me as under 13. I made the account 3 years ago when I was under 13, but I'm older now. They claimed my email information didn't match. In the last three years, I've changed my email. I provided my permit license with the birth date I used on Twitter and my full name "Tierra Alexis Alvarez" to prove my identity, yet they haven't reinstated my account. It's been over a month, and I'm frustrated. My old account has all my content, unlike my new boring one. Please return my account as I'm not a spam or catfish. I can even FaceTime at [redacted] to prove I'm genuine. Just give me back my account; I've been waiting patiently.

My birthday falls on December 21, [redacted]. A few months ago, I mistakenly entered December 21, [redacted] on Twitter due to the platform's restrictions on birth year. Today, on my actual 21st birthday, I tried to correct it to reflect December 21, [redacted]. Unfortunately, this led to my account being locked as it indicated I was under 13 years old. Twitter requested my ID for verification, but I encountered difficulty uploading the image as it required a PDF format. As I prefer not to share my ID online, I seek guidance on how to proceed with unlocking my account without compromising my identity. It is frustrating that such a minor error resulted in this situation.

My account has been suspended, and I believe it is unfair. I do not want to delete the email address as it would hinder my ability to appeal the suspension. Although I was informed that I should still be able to read tweets and reach out to others through direct messaging during the suspension, I am unable to proceed past the page that asks for the removal of the reported tweet. I strongly disagree with the woman who reported me. She used profanity towards me, accused me of bullying her and others - something I have never been accused of before - and then reported me because I simply disagreed with her viewpoint. I am seeking reinstatement and wish to be able to access tweets and communicate via direct messaging while the issue is under review. Thank you for your support.

I am extremely frustrated with the lack of response from customer support. My account @gauchenews was blocked, received a generic apology after 48 hours, then got locked again shortly. Now, my @azadehja account is locked for no reason. I want to communicate with a real person to understand why my accounts are repeatedly being locked. The current customer service experience is unacceptable. I demand both accounts to be unlocked without the need for phone verification. I seek a detailed explanation for the repeated lockouts and an immediate resolution. Communication through email alone is insufficient. Improve your customer service promptly.

I am currently locked out of my Twitter account because it seems I was under 13 when I initially created it. Now being 18, well over the age requirement, I can't recall ever tweeting before I was 13. I put in the wrong birth year, changing it from [redacted] to [redacted], when I realized the mistake. This adjustment triggered the account lock. I have put a lot of effort into curating my favorite accounts to follow on Twitter, and it's a platform I genuinely enjoy. I understand the need to address this issue, but I request the deactivation of my account since it holds sentimental value to me. While Twitter claims to be "working on a solution," the process seems lengthy, evident by my friend who encountered a similar situation six months ago and remains locked out. Given that numerous individuals under 13 likely create accounts and falsify their age, I urge Twitter to verify my current age and allow me to continue using my account.

Hello, I would like the account @GfcThe to be removed. I unintentionally created two accounts and cannot log in. The account contains school information and needs to be deleted due to safety concerns regarding potential tweets from parents or students. I have already replaced it with a more appropriate account name. I was confused during the setup process and cannot access it even though I used my manager's phone number and the password "blueshirts." Despite multiple attempts, Twitter does not allow me to log in. Kindly remove the @GfcThe account, as a suitable replacement has been created for the school. Thank you, David.

I am facing an issue with Twitter where my account remains inactive due to age restrictions. When I first created my account at the age of 12, it got suspended recently because it has been six years since its creation. I am now 18 and a half, and Twitter requires me to verify my age by submitting an ID which I am not comfortable with. I find it unreasonable that after all these years, they are requesting this level of verification. I have updated my birth date to reflect my actual age accurately. I believe Twitter should be able to verify this information without such intrusive measures. I have been unable to access my account for quite a long time, and I am frustrated with the situation.

Earlier today, as a teenager, I decided to tidy up my profile on my @drunktutton account. After updating my bio and adding my birthday, I encountered an issue. I got locked out of my account due to being perceived as under 13, when in reality, I am 15. Despite following instructions from the help center, resetting my password multiple times, and verifying my email, I remain unable to access my account. I acknowledge the concern, but I created the account with a parent's supervision three years ago. I need to confirm my age promptly to regain access. Not being able to connect with my best friends and family abroad is difficult. Please assist me in resolving this matter promptly.
