On September **th, ****, I tried to change my birthdate on twitter and ended up getting locked out of my account because apparently I wasn't ** when I first created my account * years ago. I submitted a ticket through Twitter Support to try and get my account back, including a picture of my current ID that shows I am now ** years old, and they ended up getting back to me saying that they would be able to unlock my account and for me to be patient while they deleted content from before I was ** on my account and that they would be in contact soon with updates on their progress. Well, I was patient, but it has been ** days and I still haven't received any updates or my account back and I'm starting to get really angry. This is so extremely unprofessional and I'm pursuing a profession that requires me to use social media as an outlet to reach out to people and if I don't get my account back, I will be losing years of data and content that I cannot afford to lose on my page.
