The issue in GetHuman-cetraylo's own words
My husband and I booked a vacation using one of Trivago's partners, Hotels For Everyone. We booked our trip on **** using a debit card. We were sent an email on *** telling us that Hotels for Everyone is going out of business and that our reservations had been canceled. The email stated that we would need to reach out to our bank about receiving a refund. Since we used a debit card and not a credit card, we have not been able to receive a refund. Now we have paid $*,*** and have no reservations. We believed by using Trivago, that Hotels For Everyone had been vetted and was a legitimate business. Why else would Trivago partner with them and recommend them to their customers? This has been a complete nightmare and added undo stress to what should be a relaxing vacation. I would like our money refunded. Please email me back at your earliest convenience.
GetHuman-cetraylo did not yet indicate what Trivago should do to make this right.
