Staying at a the Travelodge Woolwich and are extremely regular customers of yours. On this ocassion my partner and myself are staying for * consecutive days due to my partner being too unwell to travel with fever and chest infection. At *am in went down to inform that the water in sink was not draining and blocked. And wish for a room change. The night staff was very helpful and noted in book and said to see the morning staff. I did so and was told by member of staff Tyrone that needed to see staff at *pm. I went at *pm down and was at the till getting a drink for my partner. And Tyrone the morning staff said to the *pm staff member in front of myself. "There was mentioned to be a room change but u said they had to see staff after *pm because I couldn't be arsed" and then laughed. The other member of staff was gobsmacked and I replied "is that why I couldn't change rooms then? Because you couldn't be arsed?" The lady was extremely apologetic about this as this is completely unacceptable. I was unable to even wet a flannel easily for my wife. And was unable to use sink to steam my wife's chest. Overall it's just not on. And then to hear a member of staff infront laugh and joke speaking about how he couldn't be arsed to sort out room change in the presence of of another member of staff infuriates me. I use your hotel on numerous occasions and are repeat customers and almost regulars most of the staff no us quite well. We don't expect to pay and spend the money we do with yourselves for one a room that does not meet standard requirements but appreciate that problems occur but to be treated the way we was needs to be addressed please
