I bought this television a couple of days ago specifically because it allowed sound from both the TV speakers AND the headphone jack AT THE SAME TIME. I am very deaf and the only way I can listen to the TV is through earphones. My wife is not deaf and needs to listen to the TV normally. Our last television, a Panasonic, allowed this with no problem at all. The salesman in Currys assured us that this Toshiba model allowed for this and even demonstrated it in the shop. However despite going through all the combinations of settings I can think of I have not been able to get this to work at home. Whatever I do as soon as the headphone jack is plugged in, the speaker sound cuts off.*I went back to the shop and the salesman demonstrated again (On the same model TV obviously) and it worked. I took a photograph of the screen showing all the settings that TV was using and made sure mine replicated that exactly but the problem is still the same.*The TV is absolutely useless to us unless we can solve this but Currys is of limited help beyond showing us one that does work in the way we want it to. We are pensioners and rely on our TV for all our entertainment and in all other respects find the television we chose to be first rate so I do hope you can help me solve this problem.**Many thanks,*Peter Nutt
