Hello, I would appreciate some advice. I purchased a Toshiba 55T6863DB 55” Smart 4K Ultra HD TV with HDR and Freeview Play on 15/11/18 from ao.com. Lately, the TV has developed ‘shadows’ along the top of the screen. I have tried cleaning the outer screen, but the issue persists. These darker patches are quite noticeable, especially during lighter scenes like snowy landscapes or football matches. I am unsure how to resolve this matter since the TV is less than 6 months old. I received a brusque response from your customer service representative regarding my issue with a Toshiba Microwave. There was no apology or empathy expressed, just a suggestion to return it to the vendor. I feel disappointed by this level of service and will consider avoiding Toshiba products in the future.

When I attempt to use Closed Captions on DVDs, I encounter difficulty accessing them. The Language or Setup category does not display subtitles or Closed Captions, despite the DVD packaging indicating their availability. A friend recommended adjusting settings on my Toshiba TV menu to enable this feature. The model number of my TV, B36202C87813C1, is not listed on the Canadian support website.

I recently had the caravan site WiFi connected to my mobile home. However, I am facing issues connecting my Toshiba smart TV/DVD combo to the internet through the communal WiFi. The TV requires a web browser to input the WiFi password, but I am unable to access it as I am not connected to the internet. Pressing the Home button is not helping either. I would like to return a faulty 55-inch TV. It constantly freezes, shuts down, and the TV guide is unavailable. Resetting with the mains plug, not the TV itself, is needed when using Netflix or Amazon, but even that doesn't work all the time. The TV is unresponsive, causing a lot of frustration. I have tried to contact the company without any luck. I just want the Toshiba TV collected and a refund issued promptly. Please respond to arrange the collection and refund. Thank you.

I own a satellite P50t B 10K laptop. After updating it from Win8.1 to Win10 64bit home, I encountered two issues.
1. The AMD GPU is no longer active, and only the Intel [redacted] integrated chip is functioning. The system struggles with basic tasks, and the screen scrambles when RAM usage reaches around 70%. The driver listed as AMD R9 S200 in device manager should be an AMD R9 M265X card, but I have been unsuccessful in installing the correct drivers from various sources.
2. There is no sound on the laptop after the update. Despite attempting to install drivers from different websites, including the manufacturer's and Microsoft's, I can only hear very faint clicks occasionally, with overall audio not working on the system.
I suspect these two issues might be interconnected.

I used chkdsk in the command prompt to attempt to fix an error, but now it's stuck at 18% during the reboot disk check/automatic repair process every time.
I've made several attempts in the command prompt to bypass the automatic repair, but even after entering commands or editing the registry in the auto repair command prompt, it always ends up showing just the windows logo.
My computer won't start up at all, and I'm concerned about my data now.

I purchased a Toshiba 24WL3A63DB, 24-inch, HD Ready, Freeview Play, Smart TV on 18th September [redacted]. Since then, it has been randomly turning on and off, even without any interaction. Recently, it disconnected from the wifi, and I'm unable to reconnect it. I would appreciate it if someone could either replace the TV or examine it for me.

I own a Toshiba 37XV553D TV and have connected a soundbar using HDMI and a digital audio output cable. However, when I switch the input to Hdmi1 for my cable box, the sound is still coming from the TV tuner, not Hdmi1. I need to route the sound from Hdmi1 to the digital audio output. Unfortunately, my soundbar only has one HDMI port, so I have to go through the TV to connect the cable box. Can the TV be configured to send Hdmi1 audio to the digital audio output?

Subject: Disappointing Experience with Toshiba Maintenance Service
To the Toshiba Team,
I wanted to bring to your attention the issues I encountered with the maintenance service for my Toshiba TV through your agent in Sheikh Zayed, 11th District. Initially, they diagnosed the problem as a backlight issue without inspecting the TV, which I disputed. Upon inspection, they discovered the actual problem was the screen inverter, costing me 1,[redacted] LE plus a [redacted] LE visit fee.
After the maintenance, my TV, a TORNADO 50” ED9000, had two new problems: a damaged electricity plug due to overheating and dark/un-bright areas on the screen.
I am reaching out to express my disappointment and to inform you that I will be taking action to address these issues by filing complaints with Toshiba El Araby (complaint #[redacted]68), Toshiba headquarters, Consumer Protection Center, and sharing my experience on social media.

I purchased a 55" Toshiba TV from Asda Living in Belfast. Unfortunately, the first TV was defective, so we returned it and received an exchange. Despite this, we did not receive a receipt for the transaction. The new TV also turned out to be faulty. When I tried to return it, I was told I would only receive a credit note. The staff at the store were rude during this interaction. After contacting head office about the issue, I felt like I was not taken seriously. I ended up buying a smaller TV, which is experiencing the same problem, but I do have a receipt for this new purchase.

I've been using my Toshiba USB 3.0 1TB Canvio Basics with a 3-year limited warranty, but suddenly my laptop no longer recognizes it. Whenever I plug it in, my computer starts to lag, and when I attempt to access the portable hard drive in File Explorer, it shows an error message saying "The parameter is incorrect." This is only my third week using the product, so I'm quite disappointed with this situation.

In July [redacted], I purchased the Toshiba HDTB420EK3AA Canvio Basics hard disk on Amazon. I have only used it a few times to store important files. Today when I needed the files, the hard disk did not work. The blue light does not turn on, and my computer does not recognize it. I bought a new cable but the issue continues even after trying it on a different computer. The hard disk has a 2-year limited warranty. I would like assistance in recovering my files and either a refund or a replacement for the hard disk.

I recently purchased a Toshiba 32wd2a63db TV, and overall, it works well. However, I'm facing an issue when using the ITV Hub. While watching a program, everything is fine, but when the adverts start, the screen distorts, the sound disappears, and then it goes back to normal when the program resumes. I've tested different coax cables and tried reprogramming the TV, but the problem persists. After researching online, I've noticed that many others are experiencing the same issue. I have two other Toshiba TVs without this problem. I'm quite frustrated with this situation and would like to find a solution.

I recently purchased a TV from AO for my son's birthday. However, there have been challenges with setting up the wireless network connection. Initially, the TV would shut off after entering the wifi password. Despite attempting to reset by unplugging and restarting, the wireless option does not appear during setup. The TV only offers wired and disabled options. We have tried various troubleshooting methods such as running setup, changing settings from the main menu, and factory resetting the TV. Although at times the wireless network pops up, it fails to detect an internet connection or connect via WPS, even with the router in close proximity. It's worth noting that our router works well with other devices, including our primary television.

I purchased a Toshiba room AC unit and tried to register it by mailing in the card from the original box, but it was returned undeliverable by USPS. I have sent it again in a new envelope. The problem is I need the proper hard plastic fitting to attach the hose to the unit. The one I got from Amazon is not compatible as it doesn't connect to the hose or match the connector on the unit. The hose is designed to snap on at both ends, while the fitting has a different twist and lock configuration for the unit.
I am looking for a place in Portland, Oregon to find the correct fitting. If there is an online parts catalog with pictures available, I can choose the right one there, or I will visit a physical store in the area. The time and frustration spent trying to solve this have exceeded the initial cost of the unit.
