I went online last week to request my Unemployment Benefit but the system is telling me that I had to wait until the **nd of July to do so. The **nd is a Sunday, I tried then and it still said the same thing, it also had a message that said the following WC cannot pay you for the first week of your claim, also known as the waiting week, until you return to full-time work or exhaust your benefits. If you return to full-time work before exhausting your benefits, and when I tried online to make a selection it asked when I returned to Full Time work of which I have not when I answered no, the system told me that I had to answer Yes, when I answered yes it gave me another bogus message that states this: Your return to work date has been submitted. TWC will release the waiting week IF you have been paid at least two times your weekly benefit amount AND we have not yet paid the waiting week. So basically I'm unable either way to request my benefits because the system wouldn't let me. When I called and tried to resolve this issue it wouldn't allow me to do it either. I have been trying to request my benefits since the last week and a half and have not been able to do so because of this systemic error. Can someone please assist me with this? Thanks.
