I am trying to register the vehicle I just bought to my own Tesla account. ... Purchased pre-owned Tesla but can not use many features until it is attached to my account, which requires Tesla to change ownership. Tesla is unresponsive to web requests and does not accept emails. **The prior owner, and anyone who can obtain that owner's email and password, has full control of my vehicle. This is a huge security flaw.**Tesla should respond ASAP to change ownership requests.
Tesla takes up to ** days to transfer ownership, during which time the previous owner has full access to my vehicle on his*her own account.
Tesla should immediately respond to ownership change requests to remove this gaping security hole.

I called Tesla's customer service number. Most of the auto-phone options resulted in dead-end "go to the website" but I found a combination that got me to a human being. While on the phone with me he sent the email to me with the ticket * and I replied with the information, and he moved it to the next step in the process which should take * to * business days.
