Hello, I booked a Tasker on 30.03.[redacted] to assemble my furniture. The gentleman assembled the furniture but did not secure it. He simply placed the sideboard in front of the shelves so they wouldn't tip over. Since then, the furniture has been standing like this and cannot be used. He said my friend could finish the rest. Outrageous!!! I paid €[redacted].00 for incomplete work. After leaving my negative review, this gentleman even called me at 10:24 pm and also passed my number to someone else, who then called me. I felt threatened, especially since the gentleman knows where I live. I expect the furniture to be properly set up here. It's already paid for. Rita K.

Hello, I am writing to report an unsettling incident that occurred during a recent task at my boss's home. Two taskers were hired for heavy lifting and assembling work. While their performance was satisfactory, one of the taskers, Zac F., made a concerning choice by revealing a knife, referencing his concealed carry license. This behavior was particularly alarming given the setting - a residential home in Santa Monica. My boss felt uncomfortable addressing this directly with Zac due to safety concerns. I am reaching out to ensure the confidentiality of this complaint and to inform you of this issue for record-keeping purposes. Despite Zac's positive reviews and extensive work history, this behavior was unacceptable and has led us to decide not to engage his services in the future. We are keen to discuss this matter further with a representative but have been unable to locate a valid contact number. I have been using Task Rabbit for around a month now. Initially, my experiences were positive, but recently I have faced multiple taskers cancelling on me. The latest tasker I am dealing with is questioning me extensively about a simple task of moving furniture 25 feet away to my garage for donation. Despite providing a truck and cart, the task seems straightforward. I am frustrated that four taskers have backed out, and the current one is scrutinizing a $40 job. I am willing to pay $[redacted] for a local mover without the hassle. I am considering moving away from Task Rabbit altogether due to these issues.

To whom it may concern, I would like to address the situation with my Tasker who arrived approximately 15 minutes late to assemble drawers from Wayfair. The drawers were supposed to take 30 minutes to build according to the instructions. However, after two hours of working together, I noticed that the Tasker was not focusing properly, making mistakes, and breaking the wood during the assembly process. His frequent phone use and errors in drilling led to the drawers being poorly built and not functional. Feeling frustrated and realizing the situation was not improving, I eventually had to ask him to leave. This experience not only wasted my time but also resulted in damaged drawers. I feel that I should not be responsible for the cost of the Tasker's services given the outcome of the task. As a working professional, this incident disrupted my evening and prevented me from completing other important tasks. This disappointing experience has left me dissatisfied with TaskRabbit. Dear Sir or Madam, On 22.6.[redacted], I had placed an order and a Tasker did not complete the task satisfactorily. Despite repeated reminders that the mirror is on the side, no action was taken to rectify this. Furthermore, a wardrobe door is scraping, which is unacceptable to me. The Tasker was repeatedly asked to address the issue, unfortunately, without success or response. I hereby request that the amounts debited via Visa on 23.6.[redacted] of €65.50 and €55.50 be refunded or the Tasker fixes the issues. I am setting a deadline of 10 days for this. Regarding Taskrabbit services, following a report to customer service (Mrs. SamantaIkea), I am filing a complaint about order number [redacted] (Kallax shelf 77x147, Slakt upper and lower bed frame, Malfors mattress, Micke desk, Luroy bed base) as the products arrived damaged and/or were subsequently damaged and not correctly assembled by the Taskrabbit assembler (Gianluca Ordonez). For example, the Slakt bed assembly was incomplete due to a damaged screw that could not be properly fixed, making it unsafe for children, the assembly also damaged the mounting hole/block, the Slakt drawer was scratched, the Micke desk was scratched, the Kallax bookcase was not secured, and packaging was left behind causing damage to the parquet floor. I request the immediate replacement of items and the completion of incomplete/damaged work. I expect a full refund for the defects, damages, and inconveniences caused by the unusable products, particularly the bed intended for two small children tonight. I reserve the right to seek further compensation if needed. I request a prompt response and warn of further action if not resolved. I urge not to charge for the service and to refund any fees as the service was not completed satisfactorily. I have already requested Ikea to replace the items, uninstall and transport the damaged ones, and deliver and assemble the new ones. I await your prompt reply. Regards. Hello, I hope all is well. One of the service providers, Sekina Brown, visited my apartment last Monday to install two Ikea beds and some other furniture. She successfully installed one bed but faced challenges with the size of the second bed, leaving some unassembled pieces in the room. She assured us she would return on Wednesday to assist with returning the oversized bed to Ikea but has not been reachable since Tuesday evening despite our efforts to contact her. My daughter and I attempted to exchange the bed at Ikea but were unable to do so without a truck due to the unassembled parts left behind. Today, the new bed arrived, but the delivery team was unable to remove the beds Sekina left unassembled, citing company policy. This situation has caused inconvenience, leaving me with two beds due to unfulfilled promises and incomplete service by Sekina.

There seems to be an issue with the charge for our TaskRabbit hire. We had a good experience with the tasker, although there was miscommunication leading to us paying cash for an alternative solution. Despite this, we were still charged a cancellation fee. We want to ensure the tasker does not face any negative consequences or receive a lower review because of this. The tasker made every effort to assist us, and the miscommunication came from his friend who was unable to make the payment on time. The task involved fixing a cupboard door before a sale deadline, and the tasker stepped in to help. We paid in cash and feel it is unfair to be charged a cancellation fee under these circumstances.

Hello, I've completed numerous tasks on TaskRabbit assembling IKEA furniture and wanted to share some issues I've encountered that I believe need to be addressed. 1) Some clients purchase additional items like handles, lights, shelves, and doors that are not included in the assembly price. Having clients provide a complete list for payment is crucial, as these extras can significantly extend assembly time without compensation, leading to 2-3 hours of unpaid work. 2) Frequently, items are not brought to the assembly location, leaving taskers to move heavy furniture from places like the garage. This extra work, which can take 1-2 hours, needs to be factored into the pricing to avoid additional uncompensated labor. After completing over 10 tasks, I will be taking a break because these issues are affecting profitability for both taskers and TaskRabbit. It's essential to address these issues to ensure a fair and efficient working environment.

My name is Mark and I reside at 25 Derby Road, Maidstone ME157JB. I received a call from Rey on Monday, August 22nd, asking if we could reschedule my installation from the 23rd to the 22nd. Rey arrived around 8 pm and efficiently assembled the wardrobe. Unfortunately, after he left, we noticed a rubbing issue with one of the doors. I contacted Rey through the app, but received an auto-reply saying I had been deleted. Rey mentioned he visited after his last job at 10 pm, but we missed each other. I found a note from Rey the next morning. The wardrobe door still has the rubbing problem, so I would appreciate a visit to address this issue. I recently hired TaskRabbit to assemble my Ikea ÄPPLARYD love seat sofa. The Tasker arrived promptly, knew the product well, and assembled it quickly. However, he encountered an issue with the final 2 bolts on the arms due to misaligned holes. After seeking advice from another handy person, it was suggested that I contact TaskRabbit to fix the problem. Despite multiple attempts, the Tasker has not returned to complete the job as promised. I am unsure whether to book another Tasker to finish the task at no additional cost. Daniel

I am disputing a charge with TaskRabbit regarding a tasker named SAID K. who arrived early but left before noon without completing the job. Despite providing access instructions and details, he did not wait and alleged that I cancelled, which is false. My elderly husband searched for him to no avail, and I tried to contact him to no avail. SAID K. invoiced me for a job he did not finish and canceled on his own. I refuse to pay for services not rendered. TaskRabbit's communication channels were unhelpful, and I filed a complaint promptly. Please assist in resolving this issue.

Good morning, I am Alessandra De Santis. Yesterday, two of your representatives came to my house to install 9 IKEA VIDGA double curtain rods, each 1.49 meters long. When I booked the service, it stated that two people were needed, the job would take 18 hours, and cost €[redacted]. The appointment was scheduled for February 22, [redacted], at 8:30 am. Both workers contacted me and I provided my address. The first worker arrived at 8:35 am but lacked the proper tools to cut the rods and had to wait for the second worker who arrived at 9:10 am. By 12:28 pm, they had completed the job. Despite their claim of cutting the rods, only 7 were used. I kindly request a refund based on the actual 7 hours of work done instead of the 18 initially stated, as the cost seems excessive. I have raised this issue with the workers but to no avail. I recently received a new bank card after placing my order last week. I believed you had already received authorization. However, you are requesting updated bank card details. I will need to confirm with my bank on Tuesday to ensure authorization was not processed on the previous bank card. Unfortunately, I am unable to reach my bank on a Sunday. I attempted to contact you multiple times through the chat bot, but it was ineffective. Please refrain from sending messages that I cannot reply to; it's impractical.
