I went to HomeGoods in San Carlos, CA to make a return. It was a few days before Christmas so I expected the wait to be long. Before getting in line, I stopped an associate to ask if they would accept returns without receipt if I had the credit card I purchased it on. She said they could. I proceeded to wait over half an hour before getting to the register. The cashier told me it would be store credit without a receipt, I told him that was not the information I was givin and asked to speak with a manager. Berenice arrived to the register. She repeated what the cashier had said and I explained to her that I was told differently and one of her employees made me waste my time. I asked her how she would remedy my dissatisfaction and all she could give me was the customer service number. I am incredibly disappointed in the training TJ Maxx has for their employees and managers! What gross neglect of detail they give your customers! Is this how you want your brand represented? Please someone tell me how this will be remedied.
