Hello. This is regarding our visit to our nearest tjmaxx located in Manassas Sowder Village Square. Last weekend, I visited the store with my husband and * kids—- it was a regular weekend shopping and noticed a loud excited voice around the area I was (jewelry). He looked like he was very helpful to the other associate, being very detailed with telling her how to manage that area. Based on my observation throughout that time, his voice carried and he seemed like he was practicing good customer service. Although he saw me multiple time and didn’t care to ask if I needed help... he “seemed” to have asked everyone else around me. I don’t get too caught up into that so I did not care. Being that it was Sunday, the line was long— he chose to “help” an associate at the cashier & kept chatting with every single person about random things seeing that the line was very long. Instead of helping to minimize and expedite the long line, he was the major cause of it. We were annoyed but that’s his thing— and we confirmed with the cashier that he’s the manager. Well, yesterday afternoon (**-**-**), I went back and saw him again. This time, he was at the jewelry section with another associate... sounded like he was training him. I was looking at the watches and almost made it halfway going around the counter but not a word from him to see if I needed help. I did not care.. I was still looking. However, a woman “passed by” the jewelry section not even showing interest — this man stopped and yelled to the lady “do u need help?” And proceeded to talk about the items when she clearly wasn’t even looking at them. I actually answered, no thanks I’m still looking then realized he was not talking to me. That made my me so mad that he went out of his way to offer help but yet I was right at their face for a good *min and did not even get acknowledged. He is unprofessional.... he causes chaos in that store being loud and chatty for no reason. He is annoying his own workers and the shoppers. I want to report this because the type of blatant disrespect and arrogance he shows to chosen shoppers— whatever his “requirement” is to give decent treatment to customers is uncalled for. He does not care about long lines— he cares about himself and he cares about sounding like he knows everything. Thank you for your time. I hope u are asking the workers there if he is treating them a certain way. He *****! Thank you.
