Around *:**-*pm To grab a handful of things rushing before I had to pick my son up. It was pouring rain so less I had him out in it the better. I did the scan it gun. Went to self check out. Bc that was the shortest line. My bill came to $** and change. I put three **’s in the machine. Before I got my change and receipt the machine all of a sudden said need assistance and then shut down. The store manager walked over to help me. Printed out some paper, not a receipt that stated how much I paid and how much I needed to pay. While he was trying to figure out what was going. I hear a chair rolling upstairs. I look up and the security , who has a bun on top of his head and all I see was that rolling. Then I see a phone slowly going up the wall facing me. I then realize the security is recording me. What he was recording I have no idea. I was standing there waiting for the manager to come back. In the process Erma. A stop and shop employee says we have to rescan your order. I said absolutely not I was supposed to have already picked up my son at this point. That was the point of the scan it gun and self checkout. So I can be in and out as quickly as possible. So I said **** it. I paid . ***** the $**. So I walk out the store and go to my car. And with that security runs out. Grab my shoulder. When he has no right putting his hands on me . And then there is a scene outside in the pouring rain. He says your coming with me. I said I’m not going anywhere except to go get my son. So he gets on the phone to call the police. Let’s go of my shoulder to look at my license plate. So I grabbed my TWO BAGS and put them in the car. At the same time the the store manager comes outside with two employees all who witnessed me pay my bill and not receive my change. Security is on the phone with police saying he has a “Aggressive shoplifter”. I said shoplifter,I didn’t steal **** , paid abd didn’t get my change!!!”. And I then said to the manager. “Excuse me sir, did you not just see I paid $** for a $** bill and you were trying to see what happened to the machine?” He responded yes mam’ I did. Ok so who stole something???? Because I sure as **** didn’t!!! Ok so I go to get in my car. Security says police are coming your going to jail!!!. So I responded ok well tell them to my house because for the tenth time I told you I needed to go get my four year old child. I get in the car , go home and I only live a few blocks away and within minutes my house is surrounded. Which I was mortified. They came with the intentions to arrest me for robbery. Because they is what the security gave the impression of. The police who were at my house, ended needed to leave due to a emergency. Later I find out , that security was not aware I put money in thd machine. Because he shut it down trying to assume something wasnt paid for or scanned.. and he shut it down after I put money in and paid and not before like he is supposed to. I have had disagreements with some of the employees here in the past so they look to harass me. It wasn’t until after he walked back into the store, after calling the police and speaking to the manager that he then finds out I paid and I was made to be late picking up my son, humiliated in my neighborhood, and at my home in front of my child, harassed ,made to look like I’m a thief and now feel uncomfortable to go into a store that is up the block from where I live to now I need to travel. It was assumptions that should have never been made and so many of my constitutional rights were broken. And it is against the law for anyone to just put their hands anywhere on my body.

What they did was against the law
