Hello**I recently brought a steelseries arctis * gaming headset. Many people and reviews have said this was a great head set choice. I've been really enjoying the comfort and Mic quality. However, my main and only issue is the sound quality on both PC and PS* isn't as good as my previous RIG headset and it's really throwing me off to the point where I'm considering to return the product. I've seen some reports on the internet where people have experienced the same thing, saying the audio quality isn't as good as they expected. I spent a good amount of time going back and forth between my old RIG headset and with the Arctis * trying to see if there actually is an issue. The main thing I've found is that audio doesn't sound as crisp was my old headset and it can sound just a little muffed and with too much noises happening at once, it can sound almost as if I'm under water and unable to distinguish what sound is what, in comparison to my older headset. I'm not certain if I set up the headset incorrectly or if there's a problem with hardware, either the headset or my PC * PS*. I've tried downloading drivers and installing the Steelseries app but the audio doesn't really become any clearer. What recommendations can you give? Does this headset have a significantly worse sound quality in comparison to other Steelseries headsets? I really want to enjoy this headset but I simply can't stand the down grade in audio quality.
