I came across a discussion in the Counter-Strike: Global Offensive community group about a free skin giveaway that seemed popular. I ended up winning a skin, but to receive it, the site asked for my Steam login details. After entering them, I realized I couldn't access my account anymore. My password was changed, and my linked email and phone number were altered without my consent. I've contacted Steam support about this over 4 hours ago but haven't received a response yet. I also received an email notifying me of the changes, mentioning an IP address located in Moscow, Russia. I have a problem with my Steam account. The email linked to it was deleted because it was compromised. Now, I can't access my Steam account because Steam Guard is sending codes to an email I can't reach anymore. This account has several valuable games stored. Please assist me with this issue. When I originally created my Steam account, I chose the name fabulus_ without much thought. Unfortunately, this name has caused confusion due to another user with a similar name engaging in inappropriate behavior. People often mistake me for this other individual, causing me to receive negative feedback online. I understand that Steam doesn't typically allow name changes easily, but I really need to distance myself from this association. I would greatly appreciate assistance in changing my Steam name from fabulus_ to anything else to avoid being linked to this other user's actions. Despite considering creating a new account, I have invested a substantial amount of money in games and have important game data that I don't want to lose. Whether it's changing the name or transferring my games and data to a new account, I would be extremely grateful for any support you can provide. Thank you.

I accidentally deleted the Steam token from my iPad recently. After formatting my computer, I am unable to access my account as I no longer have access to the email or phone number associated with it. I want to update my email to [redacted], so I can proceed with the Steam Guard process and log in to my account. When I tried to submit a ticket for help, I did not receive any assistance from support. Additionally, I encountered an issue with the invisible captcha, preventing me from sending a request despite receiving an error message.

Hello, I am currently in New Zealand. I recently traveled to the United States and have been experiencing issues accessing the COD Multiplayer game on my laptop upon returning. I recently bought "Hell Let Loose" from the Steam Store and played it for [redacted] minutes. Throughout my playtime, I've been experiencing consistent framerate drops resulting in a subpar gaming experience. Despite my playtime being under 2 hours and within the 14-day refund policy, Steam has rejected my refund request. This is because during a free weekend on October 11, I played the game for 5 hours. I recall the game running smoothly during that time. Steam's system shows a total playtime of 7 hours - 5 hours from the free weekend and 2 hours after my purchase. This discrepancy is causing my refund to be denied.

I recently encountered a person claiming to be a Steam admin named Mike Ambinder. He mentioned a pending ban request on my account and requested $60 for a ticketing service, promising a refund. Unable to pay, I declined, leading to my blocking from Discord and loss of access to my account, now under the name Cafine with a Stormtrooper profile picture. This individual started contacting my friends, warning of a potential ban on their accounts. I recently purchased Prince of Persia: Warrior Within for PC on Steam. I have played almost halfway through the game, but I'm encountering glitches that prevent me from progressing. I bought two Steam wallet gift cards from a retail store, but I think one or two extra cards got stuck to them. When I got home, they came apart, and now I can't tell which ones I originally purchased and activated. I want to check the balance without redeeming them so I can still give them as gifts once I figure out which ones are activated. Hi, I submitted refund requests through the Steam app for two games I bought, but they were denied, referring to playing more than 2 hours which I didn't. For Command and Conquer, I only played for roughly 30 minutes before leaving the computer on overnight. I can provide game logs to support this. I'd appreciate a Steam credit to try other games. The same issue happened with Master of Orion where I barely played. Despite the frustration, I still want to give Steam another chance due to the good sales. If Master of Orion cannot be refunded, I request at least the remaining games in the bundle be returned as I won't play them. My username is kriegema001. Thank you.

I used to be able to launch Steam Flight Simulator X from a desktop icon, but now it won't load. I've checked the properties of the icon, and they appear to be correct. The only change is that my PC was accidentally disconnected from the router while I was trying to load Steam FSX. Now that the PC is reconnected and all other internet-dependent apps work fine, how can I fix this issue with loading Steam FSX?

I am trying to access my old account on Steam since I have a new PC. Both the email and phone number on the account belong to my mother, so we can't access it anymore. Hello, I am reaching out regarding a refund for my purchase of Sims 3 a few weeks ago. Unfortunately, the game did not work on my daughter's laptop. I encountered an issue submitting 2 tickets with my PayPal details weeks ago and haven't received a response. Attempting to submit a ticket while logged into my account revealed I can't do so if I'm already logged into another account, which was frustrating. I just want to access my account to play games I've purchased, but despite providing detailed information, I haven't received any help. I recently changed my password, but due to not logging in for some time, I forgot it. I'm also locked out of my mobile guard. Dealing with Steam's support has been disappointing, especially considering the amount of money I've spent on their platform. It's disheartening how little they seem to prioritize their users.

I had trouble checking out on Steam last night. The game I wanted was on sale, so I added it to my cart, but every time I tried to buy it, the Steam client froze. I am having trouble setting up controller use with Steam's Big Picture mode. When I launch Big Picture, the interface doesn't display on my computer or TV screen once connected. While I can hear the audio, the screen freezes, and I am unable to see the interface. I have configured Steam to open in Big Picture mode automatically, but as there is no visible interface, I am unable to change this setting. I attempted to resolve this issue by uninstalling and reinstalling Steam, but unfortunately, this did not solve the problem.
