Hi there. Last week I had issues with my PayPal, my card I always use said it couldn't be accepted. When I called the Helpline (or what I thought was), the operator, Ray instructed me to buy a $*** Steam card and to call back and give him the activation number, he said it was the only was to verify my account, they had to show a third party purchase on my account or something? It sounded questionable but I was naive and I bought the card on Nov.**, *:**pm. Ray promptly called me to get the number which I gave. He put me on hold for a while, then said there was a rare circumstance where the code didn't work?! and that I would have to go and buy another card! Now I was feeling scammed. When I told the clerk at the store, he called some number to check on the card status, as they need to make sure the cards they sell are working too. The place he called said the card had been activated and used!! Ray continued to call me again and again for the next card number until i told him to stop. The place where the clerk called said I should contact Steam directly to confirm what happened with the card and hopefully give more information on where it was used or who by? Have you ever encountered an issue like this with Paypal before? I cannot afford to lose money, I am just trying to buy Christmas gifts for my four kids and am recently widowed! Please help! Andrea
