I set up Cash App in May **** and used one time to send money to someone. I obviously had to link my bank account to do so. On Sunday, November **th I received a notice from cash app, I haven't used it, so I went into my account to check status. I found ** transactions that I did not request nor approve from people I do not know. I immediately checked my bank account which shows most of the transactions as "pending" but due to that fact my money is unavailable. This in turn has caused legitimate transactions to be returned for insufficient funds. I reached out to Cash App via email, which was the only option. After providing all the details of the fraudulent transactions, I was told it could take up to ** days for them to research. In the meantime, several of the fraudulent transactions posted to my account and still no word from Cash App. My bank is only able to investigate the charges that are not in "pend" status, so my account continues to sit in limbo. Base on the information I provided to Cash App my account was clearly hacked but they are less than concerned about that fact and unwilling to make any strong efforts to rectify. I will continue to bombard their service department until my situation is (hopefully) resolved but I'm guessing from the lack of service from Cash App they are not likely to reimburse late fees that I am receiving due to their error.
