The issue in GetHuman-pclive's own words
Sprint does not care about their customers. They only cater to the non-customer or the addition of new service. I'm nearly * years outside of any obligation on any phone lease or contract. I received a text from Sprint back in November **** offering the Samsung Galaxy S* for $* per month lease. Navigating to the link in the text brought me to the page for the S* showing the $**month deal. I selected two phones, tapped upgrade, it asked me to log in and then it changed to $***month. I was later told that this was only available on a new line of service. But they didn't say that in the text...AND, they didn't text it to a NEW line of service. They texted to an existing line of service. This is a bait a switch scenario. I've been dealing with customer support via chat and phone, escalations via phone as instructed by multiple chat agents. No one seems to have the power to offer good customer service. I was with Sprint once before and it was because of very bad customer service that I ended up leaving. Years later I decided to give them another try due to promotional offers via my job. It's been pretty good up until the point that I have an issue that needs to be addressed. I have * lines total and need to upgrade two of them that are not under any obligation what so ever. But because I'm already a customer, no deals are available to me unless I want to add a line. So really, I could cancel my existing two lines and add two lines, and that way I would be eligible for the promotional deals. Does that really make sense? I've heard stories, read posts, and seen videos about horrible experiences with Sprint customer service. I really thought that it would have gotten better by now. But the stories are all proving true with my own experiences. The biggest issues with the two phones I need to upgrade...one constantly reboots itself, but only when I'm on a phone call. I addition to that, when it is connected, you can periodically hear an abrupt electricity crackling sound from the ear speaker. The noise is startling as you feel like the phone is about to explode or something. It hasn't yet. Everything else seems to function as expected. The second phone simply powers off randomly as if the battery just got to the point where it couldn't keep the phone on...no warning or anything. While the batter doesn't last long as it is, sometimes after the phone has suddenly shut off, it is turned back on only to find that there is plenty of batter charge to keep the phone on (in one case there was still **% left.**So everyone I've chatted with or talked to has no more power do anything that I can't already do on the website by myself. Coming from a customer*technical support background myself, this is not good customer service. I've got a phone that is ready to explode any time now and continues to reboot during phone calls, and one that just shuts off even when the batter has plenty of charge.
