My wife shattered her elbow. Talked to customer service to allow her to board early. Checked in at gate. Got a boarding pass that showed XT. **Fight ***. Lax to Atlanta. Oct **. **Seems extra time boarding is after A** (which was my boarding number anyway. She was B*.). **Her arm is extra fragile. As we entered many are putting bags in bins. Carry on bags being thrown all over. If one hit her arm, good chance her arm would be damaged. I just needed to get her in a seat to protect the arm. ASAP. As soon as we got through the gate the B crowd was right behind us. **I realize the plane is late. Trying to board all asap. But.... extra time is extra time. She needed board and protect the arm. **Lucky she got seated without incident **question. Why is boarding with extra time after A**? Boarding was very dangerous for her and although nothing happened, should extra time mean extra time?
