I have * season passes and a gold membership. I received an email that said "Bring a Friend Free to Fright Fest." I read through the email and it said that this promotion could be used on Sunday, October *, ****. I drove * hours with my friend to Six Flags in IL. When we went to go into the park the attendant said that that promotion was not currently going on and he asked to see the email. I showed him the email and he said that was for the Maryland location. I am so irritated that the benefits of having a membership do not apply at other Six Flags parks. I don't live near Maryland and only bought the tickets there because I was going to be visiting for * days in a row and thought that when I came back home to Indiana that I would use it and the benefits at the Chicago location. I will not be buying a season or membership pass again. This is at least the *rd time I've had a problem with something at Six Flags. The only reason we drove all the way to the park that Sunday was BECAUSE of that benefit. If the benefits are not going to be available at other locations, it would have been nice if instead of having names like "Six Flags America" or "Six Flags Great America" you should maybe call it "Six Flags - Maryland" and "Six Flags - Illinois" for examples. It's pretty irritating that the only difference between the two park names is "Great," however, the benefits don't work at both locations.
