I purchased a new Singer Featherweight C*** @Joann's, St. Petersburg, FL. A separate (area) store is located within Joann's Fabric Center, sells the sewing machines. I purchased mine Friday night before closing,February **, ****. I was tired, becoming sick and had intended on purchasing a newer machine. The machine that was 'chosen' for me was after being educated on the capabilities of the demo machine I had begun watching. It was amazing with all it's functions. It made difficult stitching simple by easily programming it with it's computerized display and almost ran by itself! I thought my purchase had a basic computerized system for programming some similar functions. Later, upon further internet investigation, I found that it didn't have computerized functions and the automatic thread cutter is no less than the same attached piece of metal appliance my **yr old machine has on it! Unfortunately, this store does not accept returns after ** days. Too bad I wasn't advised of that at the same time I was informed of all the freebies that were available because of my purchase of the machine. The closest conversation was a humorous "quip, "Now be sure to open this and use it when you get home!". The humor behind it was based on my stating that my present **yr old Singer was siting on top of my closet shelf. That was Sunday, ****. As I stated earlier, I was becoming sick, true. By the time I got my sick self out of bed to return I saw their Sunday closing time was *:**pm!*I decided,unhappily, I needed to go online to register my purchase when I saw that Singer will actually accept returns up to ** days! That is why I am emailing you. *Here is all the information I think would be pertinent from the receipt:*(My Name:Serena J.
