Hello! I first want to start out by saying that I love love love the vacuum. I’ve used a Dyson for the past * years and assuming it was doing an excellent job of cleaning my carpets. However, when my Dyson motor went out, I asked my neighbor if I could borrow her vacuum. A SHARK. I had never heard so many crumbs and rocks and who knows what else get sucked up into the vacuum in my life! I filled her dirt canister after just a few room. I WAS SOLD. I drove to our local retailer and to my surprise he had the exact vacuum for sale! I purchased it that day.....but have had such a bummer experience with it..... I want to run and tell everyone about this amazing vacuum but there are some things that have really bothered me. Here’s my story. **I recently purchased a shark vacuum at a local shop. It was brand new and I had excellent customer service. However, as the days passed and I went to vacuum my stairs I realized that he had not given me all the attachments to the vacuum. I had not realized this at purchase because in his store he has all the vacuums out of the boxes on the sales floor so you can view them. I went back to his shop and he proceeded to tell to that he doesn’t have those attachments as he is “always robbing peter to pay paul”. He offered me a different attachment (just *) and it was clearly not of the same line (it was a totally different color and style). I got home to realize it was a used attachment that had dirt and hair in it and didn’t even fit my vacuum. I felt so frustrated and that he had ripped me off because he didn’t give me everything I had paid for in my vacuum purchase. **Less than a week after I had the vacuum - as I went to empty my dirt canister, the entire canister bottom lid popped off and into the trash. It had already broken. I now have to carefully finagle the canister out, but usually end up getting dirt on the floor and on the filter. **Is there anything that can be done? As I said-the vacuum itself is so amazing - I want to tell everyone about it - but the circumstances surrounding the purchase and that the canister lid broke overshadows that.
