The issue in GetHuman-bigreels's own words
About * months ago we installed a new Kenmore refrigerator. It worked fine however the chilled water had a slight petroleum like taste* even with the new filter installed. We changed the filter and the taste remained. At that point we called for service. A technician came and said he tasted nothing and reported that to his home office. We are on a boat with four aboard. Since acquiring this unit we have drawn water from Broward County, our own reverse osmosis unit and several places in the Bahamas. The problem remains to the point where the crew is now using bottled water. I might add that our previous Sears refrigerator did not have this problem. Is there some way to flush the internal line between the filter and the ice maker*water fill so that we may enjoy the unit?*Stephen Carner
