I purchased clothes and shoes, Approx. $***, for my husband about * *** months ago in the Landmark Mall, Alexandria, VA Sears store. The clothes fit, however the shoes do not (* pairs, size *). I tried returning them to the store July *, with the receipt, for a refund or store credit. Since it was more than ** days since purchase they would neither refund nor give me store credit for the shoes. What am I to do with * pairs of unworn shoes, which I cannot use (too large), but can easily be placed back on the shelves for someone else to purchase? A store credit would ensure my satisfaction, the store would have the undamaged, unused merchandise, and I would have to purchase additional items, thus the store would also keep me as a customer and make additional sales.
