I have a new Kenmore elite dryer- purchased ****. It burned two holes in a shirt of mine as verified by the service man, Gary, who came out from A* Appliance under my Sears warranty last Friday on September **th. Gary said it was NOT the first time he'd seen this happen and advised me not use high settings or fill the dryer too full. (It is not my normal practice to use high settings or put a lot of clothes in one load.)*Yesterday, September **th, I washed a small load and dried it on medium. The dryer burned two areas on my mattress cover and a white blanket in another load came out with very strange grayish-black markings (circle, shapes with right angles etc.). I've never seen anything like it.* I do not want to call Sears with my concerns. My last call took two and a half hours, mostly on hold. I think I need a different model dryer, if burned items are going to be on ongoing problem, and I'd like to understand what caused the black marks on my white blanket.* Thank you for your help!
