I had a karcher window vac for a Christmas present off my mother the Christmas before last! It has only been used about ** times! It stopped working and I have since found out the battery needs replacing after about * to * years" the problem with this is the battery has to be removed and soldered" This should be pointed out when purchased" ridiculous! How on earth are people expected to soldere a new battery! I have no receipt so don't know if they would replace the window vac. I am absolutely disgusting with this design" just making people buy a new vac instead of just changing the battery! I have looked on the internet to see if I could have it repaired but there is no one near where I live to do the repair! I would like a full refund as this machine has not been value for money" It should be stated when selling this product that when the battery needs replacing after a short time u will need a soldering iron to replace the battery" these vacs would have no sales if people were aware how long the battery will last and how a new one needs to be fixed with a soldering iron! Two of my friends had a window vac and broke down in under twelve months" luckily they were able to get an exchange! Please advize! Mrs. C. Body.
