My back was checked in Newark following a flight from Stockholm.*After getting through customs’ long line, I missed my original connection.*My next possibility was take a later flight to DC (United) and then finally to Knoxville on American. However, United had a direct flight to Knoxville so I was rebooked on the direct. The manager assured me my bag would only be loaded on the actual*plane I was getting aboard. I told her I was worried it was placed on the original flight through D.C. because a worker made a big show about getting it to the plane in time. Well, then I had to get through the long lines of TSA and was unable to make it to the gate in time for the flight. Thus my bag could still be in Newark, it could have gone to D.C., or it could be Alabama at unclaimed baggage.
