The issue in GetHuman-dandep's own words
I've purchased a phone from samsung.com using samsung finance in August ****. I tried to purchase a samsung gear watch on December **rd using my existing samsung finance and there was no option. I spent almost an hour on both the phone and the computer (* calls and * chat) and was given wrong information to fill out the application for financing again to link my finance account to my samsung account and it NOT send a query to my credit account. I ended up calling TD Bank who provides the financing because of a prompt on the screen and was told the information I was given was incorrect and that my filing out the application will count as a inquiry on my credit report. First, why isn't there an easy process to link my finance account to my samsung account for easy point redemption and points for purchase tracking? Second, why are your support staff so ignorant to procedure and ramifications of certain actions? I was given a link to "link account" that didn't work and no resolution when I stated this. This support experience was absolutely horrible. I have ** years in phone tech support and most of what I experienced today would result in my termination at most are written warning at the least. DO BETTER.
