to get compensation for repairs to this appliance required within ** months of use.*First for the replaced oven igniter kit and * months later for the broiler igniter kit.*Both repairs costing more than the range . ... Used my new Samsung gas range for ** months when oven would not light, * months later Broiler would not work, repairs cost over $***. New range cost only $***. Range was obviously defective. Requesting refund of cost of range or cost of repairs.
customer service was no help and repeatedly told me there was nothing they could do despite the fact that one "pro" assured me that if I faxed proof of purchase and all receipts Samsung would look into the issue & get back to me. All items faxed Sept. *, ****. Got same response when I called customer service recently to seek a response to my fax.
I am requesting compensation for either the cost of this range which was obviously defective or compensation for cost of repairs after only ** months in use.
I have bought Samsung products many times before for my home residence and several rental units that I own. My daughters have Samsung gas ranges for many years and have not have problems.
not at this time, but am pursuing other options available to consumers like myself.
