Hello, my name is Rose Maley. I have purchased * separate blu-ray players. The first was with an entire sound system. It lasted barely one year before it would not play discs. The second we opted to just get the blu-ray player and forgo the whole system. This second one lasted less than that. I have always preferred Samsung products which even led my husband and I to even purchase a Samsung washer and dryer. I can tell you that after * bad blu-ray players we opted to purchase another brand this time around. Our purchases were made at HH Gregg and since they are no longer around and we had a sleep over for our kids needing a way to play movies we ran and got one making sure it was not Samsung. We have never had problems with televisions, our phones, or the washer and dryer, but after this we will most definitely do more research when we are in need of any further products. I can see one player going bad it was faulty whatever it happens but to have * go in less than * years to me that says there has to be a better lasting product.**Rose Maley
