I have a Samsung Front Loader washer* dryer combination. I've had it ** year's. Had to service the washer. It sounded as though the drum was loose and the drum wouldn't spin.**A technician came out. He checked the inner drum and it's components. Pieces of hard crumbled material were found where the SPIDER ARMATURE was located. The Spider Armature had disintegrated over a period of time.**We were told that the metal, aluminum had come in contact with other metals, detergents etc. and started to decompose.**After our own research, we were made aware that Samsung knew of the issue using aluminum and chose to continue manufacturing and selling front loaders with aluminum as material for components in the Spider Armature.**Suggestion: How much more would it have cost to use stainless steel a more durable material.**Other issues I noticed with my Samsung Front Loader, my clothes didn't smell clean. My clothes had a foul rotten odor.**Our quoted cost to repair this issue was $****.** plus labor.
