Approximately * year ago I bought my single daughter a **V Ryobi Starter Drill Kit. The battery was charged and then I placed the drill and charger on her work bench. I bought it for her so that I could use it when I needed it. I needed to fix a fence on her patio this weekend so I sent her down to retrieve it. The drill was completely dead. I then plugged it in to charge it. The charger does not indicate the battery is defective but does not charge the battery with a solid red light showing. This is the first time this drill has been taken off her bench to be used after being removed from its box * year ago. I know she never registered it. The serial number is CS*****NA*****. The charger number is HW*****D******. The battery number is *********. CS*****N******. I obviously don't know if it's the battery or charger that is defective. What can you recommend?
