Access my PAID storage unit C** on November **, **** at **** w Washington blvd, Los Angeles, CA ***** ... the latch on my unit was damaged and broken and would NOT allow me to access the unit, containing a custom built, *' banquet table * $**,*** costume that I needed for an event that night (fundraiser for children with cancer - The Dream Foundation). Here is the feedback from the client: "I think you need to reimburse them the $****. I am so sorry and hate to ask that of you but that table was supposed to sell about $**k worth of items minimum but they were so late and even though they stayed late, by that point **% of the guests were done bidding. The action was from *:**pm to *:**pm. They arrived at the auction at *:**pm. It just wasn’t enough time. I think that the performer was so stressed that she never said a word or interacted at all. She seemed very rattled by the whole experience of being late and scrambling to get done - though always polite and apologetic. It makes me look terrible* I am kind of mortified!!!"
I called, I emailed, I went to the location in person. I have records of over ** VISITS. Numerous phone calls, voice messages, text messages and emails via publicstorage.com. I have noted the names of many of the reps to whom I have spoken. I have records of the emails. I was VERY CLEAR! The door must be fixed immediately! You are holding MY POSSESSIONS HOSTAGE. I will call the police! I spoke to my attorney, Thomas Baxter in LA about the nightmare. These calls and visits have lasted * MONTHS!!!! I paid for Nov and December and January. My wallet was stolen and automatic debit was cancelled. Still, no one would call me back! Numerous employees empathized with me (it's a revolving door of staff at that location), told me they understood entirely, but no action, no process nor procedure was taken. Not until late Jan*eary Feb was I told to sign a "lock-cut" release. I signed it IMMEDIATELY in front of Princess. They lost the document. Weeks later, I spoke to the NEW District Manager, Bill, who asked me to sign it again. I did so. He promised to put a rush order on the repair. He did not repair it. He promised he'd call, he did not. I offered to sign a * year lease with my company WILDCHILD WORLD INC, in exchange for * months credit towards my future bills. They said they'd call me. THEY DID NOT. THIS IS ILLEGAL.
I have lost THOUSANDS AND THOUSANDS of dollars due to this horrible experience. All I am asking is to have * months credit towards my future bills. The auction is TODAY!!!! In a few hours, your organization shall auction a storage unit full of cardboard boxes and a table with a HOLE IN IT. I demand someone call me to settle this account before I expose your illegal behavior to THE COPS * THE LOCAL PRESS! I want to cultivate meaningful relationships with my neighbors across the street. Instead, your backward, thieving ways have ruined my professional life.
