Travel restrictions as a result of the COVID-** pandemic have forced me to cancel my flight from Baltimore Washington International Airport to Southwest Florida International Airport on *******. On ****** I reserved a rental at the Naples airport through Priceline.com but now wish to cancel the reservation.*Here is the pertinent information:*Priceline Trip * ***-***-***-**Mid-size car from Dollar Car Rental Dollar Car Rental Confirmation * J********E* *Driver Sandra Roberts Pick-up on ******* Return on ******* Total charged to my credit card $***.***I tried using the online chat feature at priceline.com but got a message that I cannot cancel my reservation until * days before my scheduled trip. I also tried calling Priceline and got the same recorded message. Since I no longer have a scheduled trip - I canceled my flight this morning - I see no reason why I should have to wait until ****** to cancel my vehicle, especially since canceling now would make the vehicle available for someone else who may need it.*Please cancel my rental car, refund the $***.** to my credit card and email me a confirmation*of the credit. Even if you normally have a no refund policy, the fact that there is a country-wide pandemic is indicative of the fact that there is nothing normal about the current situation.

I used the online chat. But when I was asked if my travel was within ** hours, I said yes even though my trip wasn't til ****. I was connected with an online agent who canceled my vehicle & refunded the full amount I had paid.
