I had filtered for pet friendly hotels and selected an "express sale" booking. After making the transaction, I could not find any information about the hotel being pet friendly in the receipt so I went to the hotel's website only to learn that pets are not allowed. Upon learning this, I attempted to cancel the reservation. This was probably within *-** minutes of making it. The agent told me there was nothing that could be done. I told her that I would contest the charges through my credit card provider and that I would let everyone that I know, know of this experience and warn them to stay away from Priceline.COM. Know this is just a drop in the bucket, but word of mouth does travel so in light of the treatment that I have received, I will do my best to reciprocate.
