The issue in GetHuman-rnfa's own words
On ******* I booked with Priceline . When I arrived at the hotel In Jamaica (Spanish Court Hotel) ***-***-***-** the hotel could not find it it there in there system to check me in. I waited for over one hour and they still could not find the booking in there system inspite of me showing it to her on my phone . After over an hour and exhausted I then rebooked at the next closest hotel again with Priceline and with the same credit card and that hotel immediately saw the booking in there system. They had no problem finding the information and checking me in immediately in which I called before went over there . *(Courtyard Marriott Hotel) ***-***-***-**. When I arrived home and saw there were two charges with Priceline on the same date . I then disputed it with American Express and was told I have to pay it but they also recommend that I call Priceline and and try to resolve it with them . *I called Priceline yesterday and spoke with (Abby) and was told they could only refund me one night which would be $***.**. I was still anticapting a full refund . I then called back today and spoke with (Ruth) and she also had me on hold at length and then provided me with the same information that they will credit back my card for one night stay with a refund of $***.**, the exact amount the previous person quoted me yesterday . I then asked to speak to a supervisor to try to obtain a full refund of $***.** she told me I would not be getting any sort of refund and she don’t understand why the two other people said I would . I am extremely disappointed with Priceline and how this entire situation was handled especially by the supervisior (Serena ). She stated that I am I not entitled to any sort of refund as my credit card investigated it already . I then called back American Express and they told me now that they have finish there investigation I definitely should pursue it with Priceline . Serena told me she will sent it to a research department but pretty well said she cannot investigate it as American Express already done that . The credit card company assured me that makes no sense and I should take it a step further . I am disappointed with after years of service and frequently using Priceline that I would be treated this way and and not issue full refund or even a partial refund that was previously promised by two other people to have the supervisor denied it. She was very stern and dismissive and did not want to hear what I had to say . I then asked to speak to someone else and she told me there is no one above her and that is her decision. Like her . I also work with the public and I certainly would have used a different approach and attempt to problem solve differently . I hope you can also review with your calls to hear that I was a least promise a partial refund from two other peopleo within the last two days . I am truly disappoint with this response non consistent information . I am hoping that after years of service and commitment we can somehow resolve this in a different manner . I am presently totally disappointed with especially the supervisior and her responses and tone . Most of all she now refuse to give me even a partial refund of $***.** as promise by two previous person even though I do deserve a full refund of $***.** . I really need this to be looked at differently and from someone else besides the supervisior (Serena) who was very rude and dismissive .Definitely not good for business . I am in a similar field and would never handle a situation in a manner . I would still like a full refund since it was not my fault and I was totally inconviences to which not of it was my fault.
