I've been attempting to activate my profile on POF for approximately two weeks now. Due to my cell phone not receiving your text, I've been unable to proceed with the activation process. I've used this platform on and off for years without encountering this problem before, and it seems that many others are experiencing the same issue. My profile name is Catwhisperer71-2, and my email is [redacted] My cell phone number is [redacted]-[redacted]. Previously, my profile name was Ladyinblack1947 with the same email address, which should confirm my authenticity. Please assist me in activating my profile, as I don't want to switch to another site due to this issue. Thank you for your help.

Someone messaged me saying 'hi there,' and claimed I gave them my number on POF. I replied asking what POF was, and they said it stands for Plenty of Fish. I had to Google it to find out. I didn't sign up for your website, and I believe my daughter may have done it out of spite while arguing with me. I wish we could spend more time together, and this is the result. I do not want to be on your site, and I am unsure how to remove my name, picture, and details. I only have my phone number and don't know under what name I am registered.

I want to alert everyone about a man named Greg Voss. He is using multiple email addresses and is active on various dating sites. He often doesn't post a picture, and we have seen him on Match and Meetville. Greg has both real and fake accounts. He has a pattern of being a sex addict, using dating sites, chat rooms, and video chatting apps to watch women. He uses text and burner apps to get different numbers from women and convince them to send him pictures. Despite being 39 years old with a 16-year-old daughter and 21-year-old son, he targets women aged 18-25. Greg appears sweet, romantic, and victimized by his ex to gain sympathy before turning the conversation towards sexting. He shares fake pictures and lies about himself before disappearing. Please help take action against him. His real name is Gregory Voss, and we have discovered he works at Big Number One Motor Sports in Homewood, Alabama, and resides in Adamsville, Alabama. This is my fourth attempt to contact POF regarding an issue with resetting my password. I have followed the steps in the help section to request a new password, but it requires my registered email address which I no longer remember. My current personal email address is [redacted], which I have entered multiple times without receiving a password reset email. It is frustrating and I believe there should be a simpler option such as text message verification. I just want to access my POF account and upgrade it without being charged for technical support due to a faulty product. I have tried contacting mobile support without success. I am a member and have been in contact with Henry B. who claims to be in the U.S. Army. He requested $[redacted] USD from me to leave Syria, citing poor conditions. After consulting the Australian Federal Police, I discovered this is a scam. Please be cautious if contacted by him and prevent him from targeting others on dating platforms.

Hello, as a member of this forum, I have been communicating with someone claiming to be from the US Army, named Henry Bickel. We have exchanged messages for a few weeks, and he requested that I send him $[redacted] in US dollars. After seeking advice from the Australian Federal Police, I was informed that this is a scam. Henry claimed he needed the money to leave Syria where he was lacking basic necessities. He promised that if I sent the money to a specific account, he could exit the army immediately and board a special flight back home reserved for soldiers and diplomats. The authorities have confirmed this as a fraud.

I recently received an email from POF support team informing me that the issues with my account were resolved. I tried to register again but faced a problem when entering my mobile number for verification. Despite multiple attempts, my number was not accepted. Although I received a welcome email from POF, I could not log in as it redirected me to the mobile number verification page. After several failed attempts, I have decided to give up on this dating service. Thank you for your assistance.

I received an unexpected email from POF stating that a refund is being processed, which I did not request. It seems my account may have been compromised, as I noticed unusual activity including individuals who avoid answering questions and prefer to meet right away. I have also encountered profiles inaccurately listing age. It is concerning that someone may have initiated a refund without my knowledge. Hello, I have been receiving unexpected emails from POF indicating activity on my account, yet I have not logged in for over a year. When I attempted to log in and verify my identity via text, I discovered that the phone number associated with the account is not mine. I am unable to edit it without knowing the incorrect number. I suspect my account may have been hacked as someone seems to be using it and contacting others as if they were me. I can confirm my identity with any other details except for the unknown phone number, which appears to be a +44 number, not the US country code. Additionally, someone recently claimed to have met me on a dating app and messaged me on Snapchat, which initially seemed suspicious, but now it aligns with the unusual activity on my account. Despite creating multiple accounts using various email addresses and attempting different phone numbers, each time I log out, I encounter difficulty logging back in with the system showing an error message regarding the password. I have exhausted all troubleshooting options. This recurring problem seems to persist across accounts, leading me to suspect some form of account flagging. I assure you, I am a genuine user, a single mother utilizing this dating service. I have been a long-time member with your service, paying for years and using it in both Maine and Florida. Despite my efforts, I have been unable to change my address to my current location in Florida for the past six months. This is very frustrating for me. I am considering upgrading my service, but I find it hard to justify the change when such a basic issue cannot be resolved. My account has been hacked and I am struggling to regain access. Username: Sudsgm1 Original email: [redacted] Three weeks ago, I upgraded my account and changed the email to my primary one, [redacted] However, within 24 hours, I lost control of my account. My password stopped working, and the POF site didn't recognize either the old email, [redacted], or the new one, [redacted], for a password reset. Despite multiple emails from both accounts, I was told they weren't associated with any POF account. I did receive a refund from the upgrade, but I am still getting match notifications on my phone, indicating that my hacked account is still active.

I have been a member for three days, and everything was working fine for the first day and a half. However, for the past two days, none of my outgoing messages are being sent. Even though it says the message was sent, it doesn't appear in the conversation, and the recipients are not getting the message. I have emailed customer service yesterday and again a few minutes ago but have not received a response yet. I am concerned about whether this will continue to be a problem and if it can be resolved. If my account has been locked, I would like to understand why, as I haven't done anything wrong. If this issue is not resolved, I would appreciate a refund as there is no point in having a membership that I can't use as intended.

I used my credit card to sign up my friend for Plenty of Fish for the first 2 months. Despite setting up the account together, she is unable to access her messages from the guys who messaged her when she tries to log in from her house. I don't want to continue paying if she cannot contact people she meets on POF. How can this issue be resolved? If she cannot read her messages, I would like a refund of my payment.

I am experiencing issues with my FreedomPop cell phone service. Whenever I input my phone number, it shows as invalid, although it is a valid working number. I have attempted to receive a verification code via text, which further validates the number's functionality. I am unable to proceed with my profile setup as it requires validation via phone number. Even after trying my functional Google Voice number, I encounter the same error. This marks my second request for assistance, as my initial inquiry went unaddressed. I am unable to access my email account. I requested Plenty of Fish to cancel my subscription through their website due to being unknowingly enrolled in automatic renewal. I did not authorize the payment for this month, and I am seeking a refund. I have provided my new email address as [redacted] for further communication.

I have contacted you multiple times without any resolution. I logged out of my account and now can't log back in despite numerous attempts to reset my password. The lack of response from POF is frustrating, especially since I have a welcome email from them in my inbox. POF used to have customer support over the phone, but now it seems impossible to reach them. I had similar issues six months ago and had to speak to customer service to resolve them. It's disappointing that POF seems to only offer solutions if we pay for them, even when the problem isn't our fault. I'm incredibly frustrated with this experience, and it's clear that POF doesn't care about its users. I no longer wish to be contacted about this matter. Thank you for your unhelpfulness, as both POF and Gethuman.com have been disappointing in addressing my concerns.

I created an account on POF, but I am having trouble logging back in. The website does not seem to recognize my username and password. I have attempted to reset my password six times, but I have not received any of the reset emails despite checking my spam folder. Hello, I am still struggling to access my account. Please inform me if my account has been deleted. I believe this should not be the case as I haven't had any conflicts or violated any rules to warrant deactivation. I just re-registered on Plenty of Fish 24 hours ago, and already I am facing difficulty logging in. I have been unable to receive the password reset email despite trying multiple times since yesterday evening. It is concerning that my photos are visible on the platform while I am locked out.
