My sister's boyfriend and her have been experiencing harassment and stalking by a user they encountered during a game of Overwatch on PlayStation. The user has been making false reports against them, resulting in their accounts being suspended. Additionally, the individual has attempted unsuccessfully to hack into their accounts. He has also been sending messages to all the accounts linked to the PS4 my sister uses, including mine. Despite no interactions, all the accounts have been reported. This has led me to suspect that he may have doxed my IP address to try and access sensitive information. I am seeking advice on resolving this issue with Sony and exploring potential legal actions that can be taken, particularly since our accounts have payment information linked to them.

I received a one-month ban on my PlayStation account after being previously banned for a week for violating messaging rules. After serving the week's ban and returning today, I found out that my account had been banned again for the same reason. Despite not engaging in any contentious interactions post the initial ban, I was hit with a second ban. It seems unfair to be penalized for a repeated offense when I hadn't engaged in any misconduct. I recently pre-ordered Rust for $85 and simply wish to enjoy playing it without being unfairly reported. Any assistance in resolving this matter would be highly appreciated.

My account was banned unfairly. I posted a joke on the PSN communities that could have been misunderstood as marketing, but I was not promoting anything. A year ago, I jokingly said, "I will help you get to level [redacted] for 1 million dollars," among friends. However, this was misconstrued as solicitation, leading to my account being permanently banned. I am deeply invested in my account (PSN: Faraz2legit, Email: [redacted]) and have dedicated significant time and money to it. If not overturned, this unjust ban may drive me to extreme actions. I urge PSN to reconsider and unban my account.

I purchased MLB Show [redacted] a few months ago and have become a dedicated fan of the game. I've invested significant time and money into it, acquiring almost all of the top players through moments and coin purchases. After a long 14-hour workday, I returned home looking forward to playing, only to find that an update had reset my progress as if I had just bought the game. I restarted the game and console, but it still prompted me to start anew. It seems like my console was hacked, and I hope for assistance in restoring my game progress, as I work hard daily to enjoy this game in my free time.

I was banned for "offensive content on PlayStation messages" even though I wasn't the one interacting with the kid who reported me. My friend and I were just joking around in the chat because some friends said GTA rp was silly, then someone made a group chat called GTA rp. We were messing with them in the chat, and later, we were in a party with them just hanging out. After 20 minutes, a kid joined the chat and started causing trouble, threatening to report all of us. I didn't even speak to him; he was talking to Agent and Marcus. Getting banned for a month over this feels unreasonable. While I take responsibility for joking around, being reported by someone who decided to act out like that seems unfair.

My Playstation account was compromised, and the hacker added 2-step verification, preventing me from regaining access. Even though I have all the necessary proof of ownership, the last time I contacted Playstation customer service for help, they declined to assist me. The unauthorized user made purchases using my credit card and has access to personal details like my email and potentially my address. I need Playstation to remove the 2-step verification so I can recover my account under the username Silverbags, linked to the email [redacted] and with the cellphone number ending in [redacted]. I can verify my ownership of this account and am eager to regain control of it.

I've been struggling to get a clear answer regarding PlayStation's customer service. The phone number seems to be offline during what should be business hours and there's no available chat room. My question is regarding the frequent password changes required by PlayStation. Why do I have to keep altering my password every few weeks to something new? If this continues, I'll have a plethora of passwords to remember, which isn't practical. I want to understand why I can't maintain one password or have it saved automatically. It's frustrating considering I am a paying customer of PlayStation.

My PS5 account has been banned, and I have no idea why. My child used to play on the account until the first suspension, after which he stopped. Now I found my account banned again while I'm at work. I read that banned accounts can't be undone due to an investigation. I am puzzled by the ban as the account is mostly inactive. I'm concerned about my IP address being banned, need to cancel my PS Plus subscription, and would appreciate a refund for my recent game purchase. I hope to understand the reason behind the ban and detach my username from any issues.

I recently created a PSN account and successfully purchased two games with my savings. However, while downloading the games, I encountered an issue with my password being incorrect. After several failed attempts to access my account, I managed to change the password today only to find out that my account has been permanently suspended. This came as a shock to me as I did not knowingly violate any terms of service. I suspect that either my younger brother may have accidentally triggered the suspension while using the console or my account might have been compromised. I would greatly appreciate it if my account could be restored as I value my purchases and have no intention of violating any rules on the PlayStation Network.

I encountered an issue with Genshin Impact as it's not available in the Saudi Arabia PlayStation store. I resorted to playing on my American account but found I couldn't access the in-game shop to make purchases. While I don't mind missing out on buying items, I do want to use the free in-game currency available, which I can't access due to the game not being officially released in my region. After reaching out to the game company, they mentioned that Sony has imposed a regulation on my country but added that this might change in the future. I am seeking clarity on when and how this regulation can be altered to give access to the full game features.

I experienced being called multiple homophobic slurs while playing an online game. The individual even challenged me to a match, which happened in the next game. After quoting the slur he used against me, he reported me for it. He also made fun of my pronouns and belittled my masculinity. I realize my mistake in using that language in my message, even though it wasn't directly aimed at him. Gaming is my daily escape, and this incident has led to a ban on my PlayStation account for a week. I acknowledge my accountability for my words and hope for assistance in this matter.

During a ranked game in MLB the Show 21, my opponent kept harassing me to accept a friendly quit offer. Despite declining and explaining politely, he continued to bother me, distracting me with questions to delay the game. When he asked for a pause to go to the restroom, I agreed out of decency, but I was unexpectedly forfeited, resulting in a loss for me. He then mocked and laughed at me through messages after winning. Though frustrated, I used one inappropriate word in my response. I have used Playstation for five years without any issues before this incident. I want to move on and continue enjoying the game despite this negative experience.

In a group chat, someone shared a picture of an anime girl with questionable content, leading to a suspension for a similar offense by the sender. I advised against reposting it to prevent a repeated suspension, unintentionally using an unkind word which I regret. I meant no offense but was trying to help. I now face a 30-day suspension and hope for a reconsideration of the penalty. I would appreciate any leniency but understand if it cannot be granted. Thank you for your understanding.

I recently contacted PlayStation regarding an issue with a used PlayStation Pro I purchased on Facebook Marketplace. The seller, Justin Grenier, did not remove his account from the console and is now trying to recover it, even though we made a trade and he has all of my Nintendo account information. I have reported this to the police and have evidence of our exchange. Justin has threatened to keep all the items we traded, including our Nintendo account, while taking back the PlayStation account he sold us. I have reached out to PlayStation to remove his account from the console so we can access the games we purchased. Please be aware of Justin's actions and do not let him deceive you. I had someone house sitting my home while I had surgery, and they accessed my account without my permission. This violates the terms of conduct. I just returned home from the hospital and live chatted with no resolution. The representative abruptly disconnected the chat, offering me no assistance. Gabriella mentioned a 7-day ban and ended the conversation with "have a nice day." I found this to be rude and uncalled for as I was seeking answers politely. If this is how your customer service operates, I am not interested in further products. I own various PlayStation products and am disappointed by the treatment I received when seeking assistance - being disconnected and made to feel insignificant. I can be reached at [redacted] if you want to address this issue; otherwise, consider me lost as a customer for life. I will return all my purchased products due to dissatisfaction with your customer service. I do not seek a refund, simply the resolution to this matter. If I do not receive a proper explanation or assistance, I will no longer be a customer. It is disheartening to be disregarded after being a loyal customer who has spent a significant amount on your products. I am giving you a chance to rectify this before moving on from all Sony products I own, including cars and TVs. Nevertheless, if this is not resolved, I will explore other brands.

I had 2SV authenticator activated, but I didn't initiate it. While at work, I received a verification code on my phone. Since then, I've been unable to log in. I'm experiencing issues connecting my PS5 to my home network due to error code WS-[redacted]-0. While other networks work fine and even my home network connects other devices without any problem, I suspect it might be related to a regional IP ban as suggested on a forum. My ISP mentioned they don't refresh IP addresses, leaving me unable to use my PS5 even after setting up port forwarding following PlayStation's instructions. I managed to play yesterday after configuring the router, but now I can't connect online again. I purchased a PlayStation Plus year membership card over a month ago, but it keeps giving me an error when I try to redeem it on my console. I attempted to redeem it on my laptop and tablet as well, but the process freezes when I enter the code. I contacted PlayStation support, and they opened a case after I confirmed with the retailer that the card was activated. After waiting for the email, I was asked to send pictures of the card and the receipt as proof. Despite following these instructions and sending all the required evidence, all I received after four days was a suggestion to return the card to the retailer. This is frustrating as I have already done this twice, and the retailer insists the card was activated during the purchase. The card cost $60, and I just want my PlayStation Plus membership renewed as intended. I am disappointed by the lack of resolution and assistance in this matter.

A year or two ago, my PlayStation account was hacked, resulting in fraud involving unauthorized access to my debit card. After reporting the incident to my bank and receiving a reimbursement, I reached out to PlayStation support to remove the hacker from my account. PlayStation later refunded the stolen money with PS credits unbeknownst to me. This led to an unintentional overpayment, causing a negative balance and subsequent account ban. To regain access, I was informed I needed to repay the excess amount. Despite my disagreement with the situation, I now aim to take the necessary steps to restore my account access. My PS username or ID is |Hindsight|. Considering the extended period since the ban, I seek clarification on whether my account has been permanently terminated or if there is a possibility to recover it.
