On August 30, around 5:08 a.m., I was playing MLB The Show on my PlayStation 4 while connected to the PlayStation Network. Suddenly, a message appeared on the upper left corner of my screen saying I was signed out of my account. Shortly after, I received an alert on my phone from my bank about a charge on my account for a game purchase. I quickly contacted my bank, locked my card, and had the charges reversed. Now, I just need to regain access to my account. I recently pre-ordered NBA 2K21, which is about to be released for download, but I can't access my account. I'm a monthly PlayStation Plus subscriber and spend a lot on games and content. I just want my account back. Please assist me in recovering it. Thank you.

I updated my online ID around 3 months ago without any issues until yesterday. When attempting to log into PSN, I encountered the message "Cannot login using another player's ID." Upon checking my profile on the Sony website, I realized that my Playstation Plus subscription, friends list, and game progress were not present. It seems my account information is split between my old and new IDs. I've attempted to contact Sony Support through online chat and phone, but have not been successful. I've tried rebooting my system, resetting to default settings, deactivating and re-registering it, changing my password, and adding the new online ID profile to my PS4. However, my recent information remains missing.

Dear Playstation Support Team, I wanted to bring to your attention an incident that occurred when I made a purchase on August 18th for Call of Duty worth 1,[redacted] points at $9.99. Despite only intending to make one purchase, I noticed that I was charged twice through my Paypal account. I managed to resolve the double charge with Paypal, but unfortunately, this has resulted in my account being banned or suspended due to a system error. I am left with only receiving 1,[redacted] points while being charged twice. If I had wished to purchase more COD points, I would have opted for the $20 bundle for better value. Paying double for a $9.99 bundle just doesn't make sense, does it? I've been persistently trying to resolve this matter, but I have been unable to reach any customer service representative or speak to a human for assistance. This situation seems incredibly unfair and unreasonable. Kindly reach out to me to help resolve this frustrating issue. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

Last night, someone accessed my PlayStation account and changed the password. Although I successfully recovered the password, I am unable to set my PS4 as the primary device. When I attempt to sign in on the PlayStation website to deactivate the primary PS4, I encounter an issue where it asks me to sign in repeatedly after entering the 2-step verification code. My main goal is to deactivate the primary PS4 linked to my account.

The bank has approved 8 unauthorized charges totaling $[redacted] on a frozen card replaced due to previous unauthorized purchases. The charges, mainly for Fortnite Bucks, include 6 bundle packs for $99.99 each and 2 unknown $5.00 transactions. Wells Fargo has been informed, and a claim with number [redacted]2 has been filed promptly upon discovery. One known $10.41 purchase on 6/4/[redacted] by Regina A. (my mother) was mistakenly saved in the system. Subsequent disputed purchases by my son occurred on the same card before being frozen and replaced. Despite the card being inactive, recent charges are still showing up. Unfortunately, Wells Fargo is now denying reimbursement for these unauthorized transactions. Urgent resolution of this issue is requested. Thank you for your assistance.

While playing an online game with a friend, I unfortunately encountered harassment from a teammate. Despite my efforts to handle the situation by reporting and blocking the individual, I later discovered that I had been banned from the game. I am disheartened by the lack of communication with PlayStation support to address this issue. Additionally, I am unable to access the email linked to my account. As a loyal Sony customer for 16 years, this experience has been disappointing, especially since I have never encountered such problems in the past.

In August [redacted], my account was hacked. The hacker set their device as my primary one, possibly to download and play games I owned for free. Although I changed my password this month, I cannot remote deactivate the devices, as the hacker already did that last month. Unfortunately, PlayStation only allows this once every 6 months. Consequently, my son and wife are unable to play any of the games I purchased. Despite reaching out to PlayStation Chat, no resolution was provided. I recently purchased a PlayStation 4 and encountered an issue when setting it up. I mistakenly used an old email from a previous PlayStation account but couldn't access it. With the help of PlayStation support team, I regained access to the old account. However, in the meantime, I had created a new account with a different email address and added a 12-month PlayStation Plus membership to it. Now, I would like to transfer this membership from the new account to my current existing PlayStation account that I am actively using.

Hello, I rarely use my console, but occasionally make purchases related to 2k. Recently, I logged on and played for a few hours with no issues, but later found out my account was banned due to error code (WS-[redacted]-7) related to payment reversal, which I did not do. I have my credit card linked to the account to verify this. I received an email from PlayStation stating that someone accessed my account for "Commercial Reasons or Promotion." It seems I was hacked, as someone violated community guidelines on my behalf. I have invested a lot into this account and would appreciate help to resolve this situation.

Last night, when I tried to log into Playstation Network after years, it prompted me to log in for the first time. I attempted to reset the password but did not receive the email. I have noticed some unusual activity on my account lately. There have been repeated logins from European countries over the past couple of years, accessing my streaming services such as Disney+ via Playstation and changing language settings to German. Despite changing my password multiple times and using two-step verification, the issue persists. I receive text notifications for verification codes, but somehow these are being used to access my account. I have ensured that only I have access to my texts, especially from outside the U.S. This has also affected my Spotify account linked to Playstation. All the streaming service intrusions seem to be related to my Playstation account. I would appreciate it if this matter could be thoroughly investigated, and any unauthorized attempts from outside the U.S. be blocked. Thank you for your assistance in addressing this issue.

My daughter tried to buy game currency with my credit card, but the payment was declined. I used my debit card to make the purchase successfully. However, I noticed that my credit card was charged for both the declined transactions. Even though the payment went through on my debit card, I still have these charges on my credit card. I didn't receive anything for the declined charges. Can I please get a refund for the amount charged to my credit card?

I believe my account was compromised. I was logged out yesterday and have been unable to regain access. Upon trying to reset my password via email, I discovered that my email password had also been changed, leaving me locked out of both accounts. I reached out to chat support last night and was in the process of recovering my account when the connection was lost. Today, I provided all necessary information to an agent, including the first and last four digits of my credit card as well as details of previous purchases, but unfortunately, they were unable to assist me because I couldn't access my email. Despite my efforts, I am unable to reach support via phone or start a new chat session. It is frustrating that a hacker could easily infiltrate my account while I struggle to regain control. I have not been able to provide the transaction number as it is contained in the compromised email. Attached is an alternative email address for communication. Thank you.

My PSN account was compromised by someone in the United Kingdom. Unfortunately, I am unable to use the prechat form to speak with a live agent at PlayStation because the hacker used it to communicate with Sony, changing my login information and disabling my two-factor authentication. Despite multiple attempts, I have been unable to request assistance through live chat, as phone support is currently closed. When my dad attempted to contact Sony on my behalf, they were unable to help as the information provided didn't match the hacked account details. It is concerning as I have a significant investment in games on my account. I urgently need help recovering my account.

My brother's email was compromised, and his PlayStation account password was changed without his consent. Despite his attempts to regain control by changing the password, he was repeatedly logged out. Now, he is locked out of his PlayStation account as the perpetrator not only altered the password but also changed the associated email address. The intruder briefly used the account to play GTA 5 before logging off. I am eager to assist my brother in recovering his account, which predominantly features games that belong to me. Additionally, the account name has been altered to MLK_1F.

I am seventeen years old and work a ten-hour day, but my wage is not enough for me to buy games. I usually share games with friends, but this time I couldn't afford to join them, and my little four-year-old brother really wanted to play. I purchased an account with the game at a cheap price, but the password changed shortly after. I contacted the account owner, promising not to modify anything, but he reported me and I received a permanent ban. I understand my actions were wrong, and I apologize. I have had this account for three years and have never engaged in any illegal activities before. Please consider unbanning my account; I assure you it won't happen again.

My account with Recharge got locked after my mom replaced her card. I managed to use a $[redacted] pre-paid PSN card to unlock it, but I got banned again shortly after for the same reason. I need my account unlocked so I can update the new card information and settle the owed amount. There appears to be additional charges now, beyond the initial $79. I'm aware of the $19.99 and $49.99 charges that were pending with the new card. I encountered system issues when trying to make a purchase and was banned before my mom could update her new card details. The situation unfolded before my mom even woke up.

I contacted you regarding deactivating my primary account on PS4 due to someone else claiming it on their console. Your website did not allow me to reset it. I engaged in a chat session with your staff for assistance. They mentioned that they would email me to resolve the issue. However, the email I received essentially explained that there are limitations on how frequently resets can be done (every 6 months). I had hoped for manual intervention to log my account out from all PlayStations, as the situation involves someone gaining unauthorized access. I am disappointed by the lack of support provided. It is concerning that unauthorized users can access accounts without repercussion, affecting both payments and my gaming experience. I urge you to address this matter promptly. I will withhold further payments until a resolution is reached.

I am having trouble accessing my account on another PS4 that is incorrectly set as my primary PlayStation console. I suspect that my old PlayStation, which I sold with my login details, has caused this issue. Although I still have access to the account's primary email, the security questions have been changed to someone else's date of birth. Even after changing the password in March, the person still manages to log in using the old password. This has resulted in both of us being locked out due to failed login attempts. The system recognizes their PS4 as the primary one, not mine, causing the confusion. I request assistance to deactivate the other PS4 as the primary console and to update my account's email and password to prevent future unauthorized access. It's frustrating not being able to enjoy the games I purchased due to someone else making unauthorized changes to the account settings.
