I am new to PayPal credit. I was approved with a balance of $****. The first day I could see my line of credit on my PayPal acc. but, now I can not find it anywhere. It’s not even in my payment preferences? I have had issues trying to use the service anyways, although EBay is advertised as being connected to PayPal Credit. I spent hours last night trying to purchase items with no luck at all! I’m really about fed up with this service and haven’t even gotten to the point of being able to use it. I don’t see a purpose in a $*,*** line of credit if it can’t be used and then completely disappears from your account. The last transaction I tried today was again eBay I was able to choose PayPal Credit the first time to tried to checkout and it went through the login process, after this it gave me the options of verifying my identity by text or phone call. I first hit text, I never received a text at all just immediately got a message that it couldn’t verify my identification to try another by clicking so I did. This time I hit phone call and again immediately got the same message without getting a phone call. It took me back I again choose text and this time an immediate message said I could be verified with no more options available. Although, the last four *s showing for the text and phone * were correct I checked my account to make sure and indeed the phone was correct, it was at this time I realized my line of credit was no longer showing and when I went to payment preferences although online was still saying credit if you click to change in-store credit wasn’t an option. I then checked my mobile app. and there it shows that no preferences for payment has been added and when I try to add it credit is not an option. I need a resolution to these issues as I was very excited to do Christmas with PayPal Credit and have * months interest free to pay off our Christmas this year. I am running out of time for Christmas and need to finish shopping ASAP without a resolution I will no longer feel the need to have any of PayPal’s services nor will friends or family members, as they too are shocked by the complete incompetence of this service, the wasted hours of shopping to not have the credit work at checkout and just total frustration after searching for hours for answers to solve these issues without finding anything but millions of other PayPal Credit members making the same complaints.
