The issue in GetHuman-heylindi's own words
September **th somebody made an unauthorized purchase as a PayPal guest using my debit card information on eBay. It was a Humminbird Helix GPS costing $****, but I still recieved the item instead of the thief. I reported it as fraudulent, secured my ebay account, and requested a refund. September **th I received an email that a refund was issued from the seller's PayPal account. Ebay automatically issued this refund. After this I sent the item back to the seller, who received it. I do not have an actual PayPal account linked to my bank, as again this was a "guest purchase" using my card information. Automated PayPal customer service said it can take up to ** business days to receive a PayPal refund in a bank account, but I cancelled my debit card September **th (the checking account it is linked to is still open*active) and was wondering if that is an issue. I just want my refund or at least be assured it is coming within the ** remaining days. I really need that money back asap.*Thanks*Lindi
