Stopped this afternoon at the Panera in Middletown N.Y.*I stop at this location frequently on my trips form Cortland to NYC. Had Stop on my way down on Friday.* If you would like I can provide you with my Panera rewards number so you can track my profile .** On this trip I ordered the you pick two.. soup and a grilled cheese sandwich ... rented it was a busy lunch hour Sunday afternoon .. this was my first time trying this new menu item. It took a while yet when I received my meal the bowl soup was all right but the grilled cheese sandwich consist of nothing more than to pieces of bread with melted cheese in the middle ..half melted .. was nothing more than two pieces of “wonder bread” with some shredded cheese in the middle put through in microwave . Absolutely no toasting or grilling of the bread .. I brought this to the attention of what I believe to be the manager he stuck a singer in the very soft bread and off he went to get another one .. ** minutes later I chased him down and he hands me another sandwich exactly like the first one ..** My first question to you is what constitutes a grilled cheese sandwich at Panera ??* Is the sandwich anytime grilled or put through a Panini press ??** If you question the amount of time I’ve spent there on my frequency of spending money at Panera please get a hold me I’ll get your money rewards number .. but I would like an answer on how you make a grilled cheese sandwich ??
