Help with my Panasonic.com issue

I have a KX-TGE**o Panasonic phone with answering machine. * days ago I received a message which read "voice mail msg. via phone co" When I hit the access it says ****. I have talked with the phone company and they have tried to get this off my phone. It will not come off and the light flashes that I have a message round the clock. I have unplugged the answering machine and plugged it back in but it continues to flash and show the same message. I bought the phone in *******. Also for the past * months I cannot get the date and time to stay in my phone no matter how many times I put it in. I have even changed the batteries with no luck. Any help you can give me appreciated. I am ready to get rid of this phone if not.
