USE itoutside in daylight. Light is barely visible * ' from the laser level IN THE SHADE... I'm building a *** foot concrete block wall. ... Purchased a product from a person on OfferUp. Received it a few days later. BEFORE I ordered, I noted to the seller my NEEED for the specific abilities of that laser level listed... HIGHHLY VISIBLE green light visible up to ***' OUTSIDE... She KNEW my project before I ordered......... The day after I received it I took it outside & tested it BARELY able to see the green line in the SHADE at * feet....... OBVIOUSLY the promo details were incorrect and it was defective... I asked for a refund........... Seller quickly responded saying it was BUYER ERROR.. and she would offer me $** when I paid $**.. I REFUSED... I attempted to follow Offerup protocol & file a BUY PROTECTION GUARANTEE REFUND form but the ONE time I found it and filled it out... it said SERVER ERROR... try again later......... NOW, unable to even FIND the form... I've spent HOURS searching over & over again & all the directions & prompts they say to follow do NOT have the information that they say... AGAINST my approval, the seller has initialed a refund for $**... Seller is in TOTAL denial INSISTING the promo details are correct and it's not her fault that I didn't do research before buying... This lady is what's called a TRUYOU MEMBER.. supposedly honest & trustworthy......... NOT so. I've send *** dozen requests to Offerup Support to send me a LINK o the Buyer Protection Guarantee Program REFUND request and there is a time constraint... * days after I receive the product... of I lose out on OfferUp staff enforcing the bogus product sale... I'm at a loss as to what to do...... Seller is a jerk and uncooperative selling junk products & CLAIMING they're new but defective &*OR the specs given for sales promo are completely inaccurate..... I did some research SINCE it didnt work...and Amazon users say the same thing............ inside is great, butOUTDOORS not worth a dime... If I bought thru Amazon I'd have a refund. But OfferUp has NO phone, NO live person, NO actual LINK to a form (regardless of what their site SAYS to do.. their links are NOT displaying info that they SAY it will. Offerup's directions are inaccurate on how to file a REPORT for Buyer Protection Guarantee REFUND... I DID find a form ... filled it out...... and when I clicked SEND it says SERVER ERROR try again later......... * hrs later STILL unable to file report while seller has initiated a refund for a lesser amount that I did NOT approve.
According to the Buyer Protection Guarantee Program THIS is what they say: Titles and descriptions should give buyers a clear, honest, and accurate description so they can tell if the item is what they're looking for.
I actually followup ON TIME ,,, when I say... I made my payment . I ASKED the right questions before I bought. Never ordered off OfferUp where they shipped product... I 'll NEVER do that again.. IN PERSON transactions ONLY
