I bought a used 3DSXL, but it has a parental lock PIN set up that I can't unlock. The seller doesn't have the PIN or the correct security question answers. I heard that Nintendo can provide a master key to remove or change the PIN. This is my first 3DS, and I would appreciate any guidance on how to go about getting this issue resolved.

Hello Nintendo, I am a student from iStem Early College High School conducting an independent study project. I am seeking information for my project and would appreciate your insights on the following queries: - What was the inspiration behind creating video game consoles? - Can you provide any details about the upcoming Nintendo NX? Thank you for your time and assistance. Best regards, David H.

I'm curious as to why Nintendo has seemingly deceived me. I recently purchased the latest edition of the 3DS XL in Poland around two days ago. Upon receiving the device, I discovered there are two different screen types available: IPS and TN. Unfortunately, the model I received features a TN screen with inferior colors and contrast. The display appears washed out compared to the IPS screen which boasts richer blacks and overall better quality. It's apparent that TN screens are more affordable compared to IPS screens, yet they are being sold at the same price without any explanation. This situation feels deceitful and leaves me feeling unsatisfied with my purchase.

Regarding the previous topic, I would like to withdraw my application to become a Wii U developer. I currently do not have sufficient free time and have lost interest in pursuing this opportunity. To contact me, please use [redacted] Although I might have initially signed up with [redacted], I have now transitioned to Yahoo. Thank you in advance, and I apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused.

I am inquiring about the reason for my ban on the forum. I posted on the Splatoon community about someone asking what superpower they would choose, and I suggested checking out YouTube for more related content since the original post did not seem relevant. Despite this, I got banned recently for using the word "butt" in response to an 8-year-old making rude comments. While I acknowledge my part in escalating the conflict, I am puzzled by the ban specifically for using the word "butt." I would appreciate a response as I am getting frustrated with the moderation actions on the platform. My NNID is Buttlid, and my Mii User Name is QuiKScoPEr. I kindly request to be unbanned. Thank you, A confused and frustrated Miiverse user.

The item has repeatedly been out of stock whenever it's made available for purchase. Each pre-order is quickly sold out within one or two hours, making it frustrating for those who can't constantly be online. In addition to that, the regular editions are also unavailable everywhere. I've been patient, saving up to buy the Special Edition, but it seems unattainable when competing with others who are quick or lucky. Along with many other devoted fans facing the same challenge, I wonder if there is a way to reach out to Nintendo to inquire about a potential restock in the future.

I have an original 3DS console. A few years back, I set up my NNID but have since forgotten my password. I've tried requesting emails to reset it, but no confirmation codes are coming through. This means my email isn't verified, making it impossible to reset my NNID password. I've been trying to sort this out for a month now and feel it's time to seek help from a staff member. Additionally, I have some funds stuck in my account and can't download any apps or themes. I appreciate your excellent product and hope you can assist me with this problem. Thank you!

I just found out that Nintendo is offering a different legendary Pokemon for free each month in celebration of Pokemon's 20th anniversary. As a longtime fan who started playing with Red, Blue, and Yellow as a kid and still plays regularly, I was disappointed to miss out on the opportunity to get Mew last month. I've been wanting to have Mew ever since it was introduced by Nintendo. Is there any chance that I could still acquire Mew in my Pokemon Y or Omega Ruby game?

I purchased a used DS for Christmas, but it's not functioning properly. When trying to purchase items in the EShop, I receive an error message stating "an error has occurred forcing the software to close returning to home menu." Additionally, another game, Smash Bros for DS, is glitching and appears corrupted. These issues started about a month after I acquired the DS. Is there any solution to fix these problems?

I recently updated my Nintendo system to version [redacted] or [redacted] in order to play Fire Emblem: Fates. However, during the update process, my system's screens went black and now it won't turn back on. I reached out to Nintendo for help, and they are asking for $85 to send it in for repairs. This fee seems excessive, especially considering I needed to update the system to enjoy the game.

My 5-year-old niece mistakenly purchased a game on my WiiU from the eShop, thinking it was part of my digital games library. Unfortunately, she can't play it due to her autism and struggles with the controls. I've been upset about this misunderstanding since she made the purchase. She usually enjoys side-scrolling games more. I attempted to play the game, but it's not to my liking either. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Nintendo's Switch Piracy Concerns Intensify June 18, [redacted] We're addressing a concerning development regarding Switch piracy. Without delving into specifics, this news affects the future of the Switch. A piracy tool has been introduced for the Switch which reportedly cannot be hacked and is compatible with the latest firmware. It enables users to load ROMs onto their devices, posing a significant challenge for Nintendo by opening the door to pirated games. Hopefully, Nintendo will find a solution to counter this issue. Let's stand against hackers, Nintendo! The consequences may include a decline in stock shares and third-party support for the system.

I own a physical copy of Super Smash Bros. for my 3DS, but it has stopped functioning correctly. Although it appears on the home screen, clicking on it results in it not loading. Instead, it gets stuck on a black screen, with all lights (wifi, power, charging) illuminated, except for the 3D light next to the slider which remains off. This issue only occurs with the Super Smash Bros. game card, and it persists on my other 3DS as well. I recently swapped SD cards, transferring everything as I did with the other 3DS a year ago, which is when this problem started. I have ensured that both the software updates and the Super Smash Bros. game are current. I am seeking advice on how to resolve this matter without having to purchase a new game card. Appreciate any assistance.

In our household, we have two Nintendo Switch consoles linked to one parent account that uses the parent control function. The first console has the "Octo Expansion" on the main account. We recently acquired a second switch and added it to the parent account. However, we are facing issues trying to purchase a second "Octo Expansion" for the new console, as it seems to only link to the parent account. We prefer not to disable the game on one console to use it on the other. Is there a way for each console to have its own copy of the game? Additionally, we bought separate Splatoon 2 chips for each console, but we are unsure if the game can be shared between the two. Any guidance on this matter would be appreciated as we haven't found a solution yet.

It has recently caught my attention that Dark Souls Remastered has been delayed, potentially due to Nintendo's involvement and a non-disclosure agreement with From Software. This sudden delay and lack of information could be a scheme to boost the sales of their online service using this beloved game. I am deeply disappointed by this behavior. The limited information points towards this unsettling conclusion, tarnishing the trust loyal fans like myself had in Nintendo. The constant changes in plans regarding the virtual console and online service along with apparent dishonesty are disheartening. I will share this theory on social media to see if others feel the same. If my assumptions are incorrect, I urge Nintendo or From Software to clarify the situation. I hope they address this delay and reconsider their approach to classic games. Regards, A disillusioned long-time customer.

During a recent Splatoon 2 clam blitz match, I encountered a strange issue. After collecting a few clams, they suddenly stopped being collectible for both teams. Despite various attempts, none of us could gather any more clams before the timer ran out. The match continued for an additional 5 minutes, during which we could move and shoot but not collect clams. Eventually, players on the opposing team began exiting the round until only my teammates and I remained. Roughly 30 seconds later, a communication error message appeared, ending the 10-minute long battle. This occurred after a recent software update, possibly introducing a bug. My Splatoon username is CatLover04, and I recall playing with someone named Kersius.

Hi, I'm having trouble accessing the Nintendo eShop on my Switch. I created a new account and changed the region to Europe, but I'm still unable to access it from France. I initially bought my Nintendo Switch in the UAE, so I'm wondering if that's why I'm experiencing this issue. I really want to download Fortnite, but I can't access the eShop to get it. I even tried creating a new user account, but it didn't solve the problem. Since Fortnite is free, I'm wondering if there's an alternative way to download it without using the eShop. If anyone has any suggestions or can help me access the eShop, I would greatly appreciate it. Thank you.

Hello Nintendo team, I am a 15-year-old who has a strong passion for the Nintendo Switch. I understand that many children may reach out to you requesting free products. However, due to recent difficult circumstances including the passing of my brother and financial strain on my family resulting from the funeral costs, I am unable to afford a Nintendo Switch. My birthday was on August 10, but we couldn't celebrate as the funds went towards funeral expenses. I have always dreamt of owning a Nintendo Switch since its release. I have enjoyed playing on Nintendo consoles like the Wii, Wii U, and 3DS at my friend's house, and my admiration for Nintendo even fuels my desire to visit Japan someday. I hope you can empathize with my situation. Despite not having physical disabilities, I struggle with ADHD and Asperger Syndrome. Despite these challenges, I try my best. I hold on to the hope that you might consider sending me a Nintendo Switch, realizing how much it would mean to me. Thank you for your understanding.

I believe it would be convenient if the Nintendo Switch could connect to the TV using Google Chrome Cast or any casting device without the dock. This could be helpful in scenarios where the dock is forgotten, or when playing games like Nintendo Land from the Wii U that require a different screen on the TV. An option to broadcast onto a TV or computer would be a great update. Additionally, having Bluetooth on the Nintendo Switch would enable users to listen to audio while the device is docked or to connect headphones for multiplayer use. This would eliminate the risk of damaging a wired cord, especially during travel. To enhance the gifting experience, the ability to purchase and send games online or through the Nintendo Switch as gifts would be a wonderful feature, especially for surprises on special occasions like birthdays. Furthermore, adding themes to the home menu could enhance the overall visual appeal and brightness. Having a lock/pin code feature would provide security in case of a lost console, alerting the owner through email of any unauthorized access attempts. Lastly, a tracking option through the Nintendo account on a phone or website to locate a lost console could be very practical.

Dear Nintendo, Upon receiving the estimate for my Switch console, I would like to address the decision made by customer service. Although the manufacturer's warranty period has expired, I am surprised that the fees for a well-known issue on this console, the blue screen problem, are not covered by your services. I have been a loyal Nintendo customer since a young age, always taking great care of my consoles and never experiencing any issues until now. I followed the Switch with great interest even before its release date, pre-ordering it to use on the launch day. I have had wonderful experiences with your latest console and its expanding game library, but just over a year after its release, it suddenly stopped working. After sending my Switch for repair, I was astonished to receive an estimate of €[redacted] (more than a third of the price of a new console including the dock and Joy-Cons). I truly want to continue enjoying Nintendo products, but this experience has made me hesitant about future expenses with your company. I am reaching out for a goodwill gesture to support my decision in investing, albeit not easily and for the first time, in a console on my own. Sincerely, Louis S.
