I purchased Windows ** Pro and installed it on my desktop. Built a new Desktop and decommissioned the old hardware. I also have a Dell laptop that I originally upgraded to Windows ** Home when it was still free. Now my laptop reports that it is the Pro version and my new desktop is deactivated. When opening the activation routine it finds the ID of my laptop to activate which is incorrect. In short I should have a free version of Win ** Home on my laptop and a purchased version of Win ** Pro on my desktop. How do I straighten this mess out. PLEASE HELP...…..Thank you
