The issue in GetHuman-apitson's own words
My ** year old grandmother was in your store here in Lima, Ohio. She parked in the handicapped parking available at the entrance of your store. She went inside, purchased a weed wacker battery, sometime between making the purchase and grabbing her **% rebate slip she must have sat her receipt down. She asked the ladies behind the counter at the exit if it would be okay for her to walk back down and out the entrance door (as she was parked over there in the handicapped parking area) the lady told her sure but they would check her bag at the door. She did just that. Even offered the lady at the entrance her bag on her departure (she hadn't realized she sat her receipt down) the lady at the door then called her a thief and said she didn't pay for it. *Now I'm reasonable person this situation went on to the point that my grandmother was crying. Eventually your employees did what in my opinion should have been done first and finally went and talked to the cashier. Not one of those people chose to apologize for the misunderstanding. I am beyond irritated that this escalated to this point. *When we called to speak to the manager (cody) he said we were lucky they didn't press charges. I have never in my life (I've worked retail forever) had such a terrible experience with customer service.*Now, had she chose to walk outside at your exit in the *** weather all of this would have been avoided. But because she parked in your ignorantly placed handicapped parking she was berated by your employees. *My grandmother is still upset and crying about an experience that could have been rectified pretty quickly had any of your employees had a decent amount of customer service or I don't know HUMANITY!? I am livid and the world will know the audacity of your employees. My grandmother deserves an apology at the total lack of judgment made by your staff. I don't want a coupon or anything else but an apology to an elderly woman who quite frankly made a simple mistake and was tore down because of it.
