I am a retired veteran who yes is a bit disabled. I have interviewed and reached out to your Elgin, Illinois loss prevention team for a door greeter position. Each time Kim Butler (Elgin, IL) notes she nor Meijer discriminates again anyone. But then yet continues to post the same position without giving myself an opportunity to prove I can do the position. After my Initial interview in August of **** she noted she hired someone else. Position posted again In November and she would get back to me. Still posted and re-posted the position on ***** but will not consider me for the position. I would like to know why. Yes I am elderly, yes I use a scooter to make my life easier. But I am looking to work. I have many years of customer service from owning my own business. I feel I am being discriminated against and should be given the chance to prove myself.
