The issue in GetHuman-anfran's own words
Albertha Francis*Reservation Number***-****-******-M**R-****-BUF-TO*Tel: ***-***-***** I am writing to formally complain about the horrible and risky treatment I received from your Megabus driver on Monday July **, at around **:** pm.* I reserved a seat on Megabus for Monday, July **, from Florida on my way to attend a wedding in Canada. My reservation was scheduled for departure at *:** pm. From the Buffalo Airport. (Unfortunately I mistakenly selected the Buffalo Niagara Falls airport stop) my plane landed a little after *pm and I made my way to the area where the bus picked up the passengers, there were about * passengers waiting to board. When the bus finally arrived we showed our reservations and that was when we were told we were at the wrong stop but to quote the driver “no problem” get on the bus, he wrote our reservation information on a sheet and allowed us to board.*The trip was going well until we arrived across the border at the St Catherine’s travel stop when four passengers attempted to board, there was only one seat available, at this point the driver approached us the three passengers he had allowed to board in Buffalo and demanded that we disembark the bus, the time is now **:** pm. *The stop was deserted, the only activity was out of service buses coming in for the night.*The two young ladies I found out they lived in Toronto took an UBER.*At a cost of $***. I was then left standing at a bus stop all alone in a deserted area I did not know. *I also did not have $**** for a taxi. It is now midnight.*I finally was able to connect to a family member who came to pick me up, he lived in on Weston Road, Toronto about two hours away. Needless to say I was alone and very scared especially since I did not know where I was or if I might me targeted as a lone female standing on a corner well past midnight.*I attempted to reach a mega bus customer service to explain my experience but of course the call was dropped before I could be connected to a person. *On reflection I should not have disembarked the bus but the driver was very aggressive and I felt quite intimidated.*I also hope that my experience is not a regular occurrence. *I trust that Megabus will make this right and come up with a resolution that is fair. If not I will seek another remedy*Thank you*A very disappointed customer.
